What comes to mind when you hear "Traditional Tokyo"? Today, we will experience a classic aspect of Tokyo. The first destination is one of the must-see spots: Asakusa. Since early times, Asakusa has been the center of entertainment and attracted many people for centuries. You will be transported into a lively atmosphere and soaked in a festive mood. Then, we will walk around Yanaka, where houses and streets look as if they were still in the good old days. We will stroll for about one hour and enjoy local everyday life, and also view small temples and the last shogun' s resting place. Finally, we will visit Rikugi-en garden. It is a graceful feudal lord garden that symbolizes Japanese poetry. I am sure you will be satisfied with the calm and peaceful surrounds. Perhaps you would like a teahouse. You won't be disappointed.

We had a great experience with Masako at Asakusa exploring the shops and learning about the temple.
Hello Helen, Thank you for the lovely comment. It was wonderful to be with you. All of you are friendly and cheerful. Nice chat with you! Hope you enjoying skiing and Japan. Best regards, Masako
Masako was early to meet us at our hotel, which was a good omen for me knowing she was punctual. She showed us how to use the subway system which seemed complicated even though we’ve navigated subways the world over. Masako’s English was very good and easy to understand. Her knowledge of Tokyo was extensive and informative. She knew where to go for whatever we were looking for and was good in suggesting a lunch restaurant. If we return to Tokyo, we would definitely use her again.
Dear Richard, Thank you very much for the lovely comment. It was wonderful to be with you. You two are energetic though you arrived Tokyo thd day before and might have had jet lag. You are friendly and open-minded about different culture. I was convinced to hear you do voluntary work in many countries and your wife runs her own company. I very much enjoyed chatting with you as well. When you return to Tokyo, I would like to meet you again, too. Please enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan! Best regards, Masako

Hello Tina, Thank you very much for the kind comment. I was impressed all of you are good walkers and patient of the long tour. What's more, I heard the next day you would leave the hotel for Haneda airport in the early morning. You are very energetic! I would like to live like you. Thank you for your cooperation and patience. Best regards, Masako
We enjoyed our time with Masako very much. She was very organized and easy to understand. Our weather was not good and she happily made adjustments to our original itinerary. We had a relaxing morning and a delicious lunch before she helped us find our way to the airport for our flight home. Thanks again Masako, it was great meeting you. Margaret and Jeff
Hello Margaret and Jeff, Thank you very much for the lovely comment. I appreciate it. I am glad to hear you went back home safe and sound. Though it was half a day, it was wonderful to be with you. Your friendliness and kindness helped me for all uncomfortable weather. It has still been raining here since then. When you return to Japan sometime in the future, I would like to meet you and show you around our beautiful country! Best regards, Masako
