Great views of Mount Fuji and strolling in the nostalgic areas of an old town are available. And also, the snow monkey park is not very far. I will offer customized-private tours designed around your interests, and I will adapt the tours and make them flexible to fit your needs. Each tour will be enjoyable and memorable. However, the hardest part will be choosing which place and what you would like to explore. I am available for consultation should you need it. I was educated in Japan and the USA. I have a Ph.D. in Biology and I did my post-doc career in the US. I worked in the R&D and Quality Control departments in cosmetics companies and I was a laboratory manager for a vegetable seeds company in Japan. I was a research scientist in New Zealand for a short time. I planned the industry tours for foreign specialists and guided them to the corresponding enterprises. I grew Oriental vegetables for commercial purposes for a company in the UK. I was a rice cultivation assistant in Africa as a member of the Japanese Peace Corps. I visited Iran, Iraq, and Syria as a member of a goodwill mission organized by the government. After retirement, I have been a tour guide. I accompany guests on offshore trips from cruise ships. I can arrange walking tours in the Aogihara Forest area including lava caves like the Ice Cave and Wind Cave, and also strolling tours in the nostalgic town of Yamanashi. I have two websites guiding about Yamanashi and Mount Fuji areas.

I got the guide license in 2017, After I came back to Tokyo, I am working as a volunteer guide, especially in Shinjuku. I hope to create special and deep tours in which tourists are interested but by now they were not able to gain access to. Visiting historic wineries and wine tasting

“Japan makes wine?!? You bet it does!!”

Even if you only have the mildest interest in wine, this tour is for you. Although Chinami gives an excellent and educational tour of the Yamanashi wine region, the beauty of the vineyards and the mountains is all the excuse you need to escape Tokyo for the day. Chinami was waiting for us at the train station when we arrived and straight away we were off to our first winery … one that I suggested which she was happy to fit into the itinerary for the day. Her knowledge of the area is exceptional and she was able to give us the highlights of the area in the short time we had. If your into trying something different the regional varieties of Japanese grapes are worth trying especially Koshu and Muscat Bailey A. We visited 5 wineries while there and had lunch at Maruki Winery which had a fantastic deck over looking the mountains. Burgers were great!!! All in all a great day and totally recommend if you want to do something different and escape the tourist crowds. Thank you Chinami for looking after us for the day!!

Wow! Thank you so much for wonderful review!!I didn't t realize we went five wineries because you left Yamanashi earlier. And I am happy that you got one you wanted to buy in Budo no Oka! I have more wineries that I would like to take you to. Remember Grape festival is the first Saturday of Oct. And Yamanashi Nouveau is Nov 3. I think your children would like them. Also, if you have a couple hours, you could go to the Fruits Park that has a good view of Mt Fuji. Take care everyone and enjoy wines from Japan!

7-hour sightseeing tour from Fujiyoshida to Hakone Gora

“Excellent taxi service”

We reserved a private taxi for 7 hours and we were able to set our itinerary ahead of time. The driver came early and we were able to communicate with a google translate app. He remained flexible and allowed us a quick stop at a waterfall on our way to oshino hakkai. The car was large, clean and comfortable. The driver was professional and an excellent driver.
