“Great first day in Tokyo”
Ken picked us up at our hotel right on time and took us around to the main sites keeping in mind the heat and crowds. He had a lot of knowledge of Japan's history and we felt like we learned quite a bit.

“Super friendly and accomodating”
We had a wonderful day today being guided by a local that happily showed everything we asked him to show us, at our own pace. He was really kind and even brought along a nice DSLR to take our pictures in the best possible spots. He was extremely patient, enduring my practicing of broken japanese, even though it was unnecessary, because there was no issue communicating in English. So much better to see a country when you have someone by your side that can explain everything you see!

Thank you so much for leaving such a wonderful review! I was very happy to meet your lovely family. It meant a lot to me as a Japanese to see you learning some Japanese. I also have fond memories of your son chatting so nicely with Japanese students on the train. Enjoy the rest of your trip in Japan, and I look forward to seeing you all again!

“Enjoyable and Informative Day in Kyoto”
We had a very good day with Hiroko. The sites visited were a wonderful introduction to Kyoto. It was a very hot day but we took regular stops for drinks and lunch which is the advantage of having your own personal tour guide. It was lovely to get to chat to Hiroko. I highly recommend this tour.

Of course, March to May is Sakura season, so tourism is high during this time. To escape the crowds, try traveling from December to February. June to August is hot and moist, and May to June is rainy.
