If you're coming to Fukuoka for the first time, I recommend Tochoji Temple, Kushida Shrine and Fukuoka Castle Ruins where you can get feel for Japanese culture and history. Thirty minutes away from the center by train is Dazaifu. There you can enjoy a very famous shrine, Dazaifu Tenmangu, known as the home of " the god of literature or calligraphy." and Kyushu National Museum. Fukuoka is also a mecca for shopping and food. If you're coming to Fukuoka again, I recommend that you try local food, for example, Hakata Ramen-noodles in pork broth and locally caught fish. I can also take you to a traditional Japanese shopping arcade, Kawabata Shotengai. If you would like to get out of the city, we could go to Yanagawa, a town of canals, which is a one hour ride from the city center. You can try boat tours enjoying the leisurely view of the historic buildings and try Steamed Eel. Fukuoka travel tip: if you arrive in Fukuoka by JR, make sure to get off at "Hakata Station." Sorry, there's no "Fukuoka Station." on JR lines. Hakata is an old name for Fukuoka and your destination. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

But I assure you Hakata is the best place in Japan to visit and live, since you can visit Kyushu everywhere with stay in Fukuoka as hub and visit Nagasaki, Miyazaki, Oita , or Kagoshima , all of them are wonderful attractive places. Kyushu is actually the origin of Japan in Japanese mythology, which generated the Japanese Shintoism in Takachiho Gorge. There are so many attractive places to see and so many fabulous foods to eat , fresh fish, beef, Motsunabe, Udon, and so many foods were generated from this region. I can introduce and explain a lots of stuff about here to you . To talk about my career, I started to work at company Panasonic and after that , I walked on the career for Automotive component as sales working for American companies. I had education at Meiji University majoring Business Administration and was exchanged to University of Alberta in Canada. Though I walked in the field different from tourism, I was always aspired to talk about and promote Japan to foreign countries and people and wanted to be civil Ambassador for long time and became guide 2 years ago. “Kazue- a creative and hospitable guide and language skills. time traveling with her. Nenzoin ”

Kazue was creative in accommodating our requests and special needs on our tour of Fukuoka. She is a great driver and has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Her background as a flight attendant has made her skilled in hospitality and language. We would not have been able to navigate the various sites without her guidance. When a museum on our wish list was closed, she suggested a wonderful substitute. Thanks, Kazue.

“Fukuoka - Open Bus Tour”

Over many, many years we have travelled extensively throughout America, Europe and now Asia Pacific travelling through Japan for about 2 weeks. Across these years of touring with guides, Tadashi M. He was very flexible with the itinerary and extraordinarily generous with his time, taking us to places where tourists would not ordinarily go and be able to see the real Japan.
