Nikko Tour Reviews
Clinton C.
“Knowledgeable and friendly guide for Nikko day trip ”
Yoshi organized a day trip to Nikko for my multigenerational family group, including telling us which train to book, meeting us at the train station in Tokyo, and arranging for a driver in Nikko. He is very friendly and speaks English very well. He was very knowledgeable about the sites, and we enjoyed spending the day with Yoshi and learning more about Japanese life from his perspective.

Mari san, Thank you very much for your excellent review for me. Angela san and Thomas san visited Nikko and enjoyed both enormous nature and traditional culture such as Rinnoji temple, Kanmangafuchi Abyss, Kegon Watefall and Lake chuzenji. We could exchange various information about each tour spots. Some kinds of happening occurred such as a monkey showed up on the rock side of Kegon waterfall that was so fun for them. We could enjoy conversation about each our customs and so-on. I am very much pleased that they could enjoy the tour. Thanks, Kashima,
Edgardo M.
“A great time with a great host!”
Ryoko was very knowledgeable about the area and my favorite place of the trip was Toshogu Shrine. Those steps were steep! It was a lovely area and thankfully, the weather was quite nice. I wish I could remember the name but the soba restaurant we went to was fantastic and the bakery on the way to station was nice as well. I strongly recommend Ryoko as your guide. In addition to her knowledge, she is a very friendly person to talk to and the time just flew away. She is quite passionate about the area and I hope to one day fully explore Nikko!

Thank you so much for your lovely review! I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour — that truly means a lot to me. Since it was your first time in Nikko, I showed you the main highlights. As a local guide, I’d love to take you to more amazing places next time, like Lake Chuzenji and Kegon Falls, as well as other wonderful spots. We could also visit Utsunomiya, famous for its delicious gyoza, and the pottery town of Mashiko. There’s still so much to explore! I hope we can meet again someday. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!
