“Brilliant Tour Guide”
Tomoko is a brilliant tour guide. She is full of useful information, anecdotes and stories that are so interesting. She went out of her way to accommodate our requirements. My wife was unable to walk great distances due to blisters. Tomoko was able to restructure our tour so we were able to see the Tokyo sights on bikes, That was a great experience.

Thank you for the lovely review, Greg. To be honest, when the subject of cycling came up the day before I wondered what I would do, but now I am grateful for the way you have broadened my horizon. Unlike Nara, Tokyo is much larger and has more traffic, so we enjoyed riding very carefully together. The lunch we had after returning our bicycles at Otemachi, with our stomachs suddenly felt empty released from the tension, and the beer we toasted was delicious! The good times we had together laughing and talking a lot are my treasure. Thank you, Greg and Jan.

“Fiipino Cultural Immersion tour w/ Moses”
I’m in Japan working on a book about Filipino migrant labor in Tokyo, and I contacted Moses in the hopes that he could organize a tour that might offer a glimpse of Filipino life in the city. Moses more than delivered: he took me to several Filipino-owned businesses (grocery stores, restaurants, etc.), the Philippines embassy, introduced me to his Filipino co-workers, etc. We also took time out to have an all-you-can-eat Filipino dinner (including karaoke!). But the best part of the tour was getting to know Moses, who is an incredibly warm, friendly, and thoughtful person, who shared his own insights and experiences living in Tokyo. Moses’s tour was immensely helpful for my research, and it’s clear that he can lead an excellent tour that suits any visitor’s particular interests and needs. An excellent tour guide, a wonderful person—hire him!

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words LA and also to Bruce. It truly means a lot to me that the tour was not only helpful for your research but also an enjoyable and meaningful experience. It was a pleasure showing you around and sharing a glimpse of Filipino life here in Tokyo. I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect and to hear about your important work on Filipino migrant labor such stories deserve to be seen and heard. I’m especially glad we got to enjoy some good food, laughter, and of course, karaoke along the way! Wishing you all the best with your book, and I hope our paths cross again soon. Maraming salamat!
