“A great day”
We chose the option to drive from Tokyo in Kaori's very comfortable car. That made getting around Kahone very easy. The other guide (her husband) also is a photographer and loves to take family photos! They are both very pleasant and easy to talk to. We also went to the open air museum, which was amazing. Highly recommend.

Hi Jessica, Thank you for your review and let me say about the weather conditions around Mt. Fuji. It’s more difficult to see the mountain in summer than in winter, because the vapor from the ocean comes out in the air in the south side of the mountain but we sometimes see it on the north side, because it is cooler than the south side. I am not dishonest nor told you a lie. We rarely see it shortly in the cloud in the evening. I hope you would understand these occasions and hopefully come back to Shimizu in late autumn or in winter, when we have more chances to see the mountain clearly. Regards, Yasuhiro Mochizuki

March to May and September to November are the best times to visit Japan because the weather is warm but not blazing and cool but not freezing.
Of course, March to May is Sakura season, so tourism is high during this time. To escape the crowds, try traveling from December to February. June to August is hot and moist, and May to June is rainy.
