“A Three-Day Kyoto Journey with Toshiyo – History, Heart, and Unforgettable Hospitality”
We had the absolute pleasure of spending three days in Kyoto with our incredible guide Toshiyo! Our experience with her was truly unforgettable. Her deep knowledge of Kyoto’s rich cultural heritage added meaning and magic to every site we explored. At Fushimi Inari Taisha, she shared insightful stories about Shinto traditions and the symbolism behind the endless vermilion torii gates, turning a famous landmark into a spiritual experience! Kiyomizu-dera Temple was equally captivating under her guidance, where legends of ancient pilgrims and architectural marvels came to life with grace and clarity. Each day was thoughtfully planned, balancing historical depth with personal touches adding a quick visit to the famous Gion festival! Her gentle, kind personality made us feel comfortable from the very first moment, and her ability to connect history with human emotion made Kyoto feel deeply personal. Toshiyo didn’t just guide us—she gifted us three days of connection, discovery, and heartfelt appreciation. If you’re looking for a guide who blends scholarly insight with genuine warmth, you’ll be lucky to tour Kyoto with her. Also she amazing walker so make sure you keep up!! :) Thanks again Toshiyo for an amazing experience in Kyoto!!

“Fantastic Guide”
Keiko T. was a wonderful guide. She met us at our hotel and was prepared and ice packs for an our tour in the hot, but beautiful Tokyo. Keiko spoke perfect English and was knowledgeable, funny, and provided insights and information beyond the requisite touristy info. She taught us how to use the subway for example. She provided guidance on navigating Tokyo Station to purchase tickets and travel to Kyoto on the bullet train. She is an excellent guide - would hire her again and again. ありがとうございます (arigatou gozaimasu).
