If you are a frequent traveller and love to find the secrets of the town you visit, here is your solution in Tokyo. We will visit only the places not visited by many tourists, but has it unique character, a place called Shitamachi, commoners districts.
Meeting Point
At your hotel or at a nearest spot convenient
Yanaka; located in the backyard of Ueno, this is an interesting town, a mixture of traditional residential and temple town. As this is untouched by WWII bombing, there are many old wooden houses that bring you to the prewar period of Tokyo, some 100 years ago.
Fukagawa; a landfilled zone located in the eastern Tokyo, this is a historic area with so many places of interest. It includes a buddhist temple, Fukagawa-fudoh, a shinto shrine, Tomioka-hachiman. If time allows, we may stop at the buddhist ceremony of fire and drums before browsing through small back alleys. And also, we may have a chance to see the Sumo wrestlers morning training session.
Sunamachi Ginza; on both sides of this 700 m long shopping streets, you will have all kinds of Japanese traditional food shops, busily visited only by locals to by the groceries for the day. Also, as there are many good local restaurants, you will experience an authentic atmosphere of local market place in Tokyo.

Tour Important Information
We use public transportation system to move from one area to the other. Walking distance will not be longer than 15k steps. Sumo training can be seen only on certain days where wrestlers are in town, except for several days before and after the tournaments, which shall be confirmed the day before our travel.
Important message from the guide
My tours basically start and end in the Tokyo area. Please note if start from outside Tokyo, transportation fee (to and from) for guide incurred will be added. I would also appreciate being asked about the availability before booking.

“A tour guide and a friend.”
The weather is cold and its raining, but this guy never stops showing us the views of Narita. It was almost 7pm when the tour was over, we’re about to leave Japan at the departure lobby when i found out that my bag is missing and realized i forgot the bag in the restaurant where we eat ramen. Yoshihisa is the first person entered into my mind to ask for help. He answered quickly without hesitation, he took the train, went back to the restaurant and brought my missing bag within 30min. I dont know how i will thank this guy that time. It’s our first time in Japan with a good guide, very professional, he got knowledge, speaks very calm and friendly, Its unforgettable. From the moment that we met at the gate, I didn't feel like we met for the first time. I was glad that you enjoyed every feature of the temple, the gate, the insence burner, the tower, the front market etc. Yes, the incident at the end was a bit surprise, but even pleasant.
