Ultimate Tokyo One-day private Tour
This is a one day private tour in Tokyo featuring most of the authentic touring spots tailormade to your places of interests. You will not only visit places, but more importantly hear a lot about the history and the stories partained to each area.
Meeting Point

Asakusa; a historic district with its iconic temple of Sensoji, Kaminarimon-gate, Asakusa jinja (a 400 year old shinto shrine ), and the surrounding area with many places of interest
Tsujiki fish market; a large market to fulfil the apetite of this 13 million population of Tokyo, with many small but interesting shops of seafood and others, an old shinto shrine Namiyokejinja (guadian god of hightides) etc.
Ueno metroplitan Park; a former site of family temple of Tokugawa Shogunate transformed to a public park after the Meiji Restauration. There are many historic places such as Toshogu shrine ( 400 year old shinto shrine), 5 stories pagoda, Museums of all kinds, a statue of hero of Meji Restauration said to be the model of The Last Samurai. Below the hill, there is Ameya-yokocho (a formere post war black market), where you will feel a flavor of Tokyo 70 years ago.
Imperial Palace; a palace where the Emperor and Empress have a residence and the office. It is a former site of Tokugawa Shogunate castle, built in early 17th century. Many lost, but there still remain a lot of historical building and monuments, where you will feel as if you went back to the period of Edo.
Meiji Jingu Shrine and Harajuku area; Meiji Jingu shrine is a huge authentic style shinto shrine surrounded by tall woods forming a devine and serene atomosphere. Once you come out, you will see a good contrast at Takeshita-dori (a famous shopping arcade for young people) or Omotesando (one of the most prestegious shopping streets, featuring contemporary buildings designed by famed archtechts.)
Shibuya; a famous place for the big crossing where some thousand people cross in an amazingly smooth manner, and a statue of Hachi (a royal dog)
Shinjuku; a district that forms a good combination of daylife and nightlife. From the observatory floor on the 46th floor of the city hall building, you will see the good birdview of Tokyo, and if lucky Mt. Fuji far beyond). At night, you can stroll around Kabukicyo( a famous entertainment district) stopping at one of the bars at Golden-gai
Ryogoku; an historic district famous as a Sumo town. You can visit the Sumo arena, and if lucky will be able to meet some wrestlers enjoying a rest after the morning training. Also, there are museums ie, Edo Tokyo Metropolitan Museum, Hokusai Museum (a newly built museum dedicated localy born famous woodblock print artist Katsushika Hokusai, or a Japanese Sword Museum.
Akihabara; former postwar black market for radio parts, once famed as a electric town, but now more famous as a subculture town. There are numerous shops of different categories varying from shops of video-games, costumes for cosplay (wearing costumes of heroes of Mangas or Animes), or animal cafes, character cafes, local street food restaurants etc. etc.

Tour Important Information
As the city of Tokyo is so vast, we should work out a careful but challenging plan of the tour to enable us to see as much as possible during the period allowed.
As the distance of walking will be long (around 15-20 steps) , please wear a comfortable shoes.

My tours basically start and end in the Tokyo area. Please note if start from outside Tokyo, transportation fee (to and from) for guide incurred will be added. I would also appreciate being asked about the availability before booking.

“A tour guide and a friend.”
The weather is cold and its raining, but this guy never stops showing us the views of Narita. It was almost 7pm when the tour was over, we’re about to leave Japan at the departure lobby when i found out that my bag is missing and realized i forgot the bag in the restaurant where we eat ramen. Yoshihisa is the first person entered into my mind to ask for help. He answered quickly without hesitation, he took the train, went back to the restaurant and brought my missing bag within 30min. I dont know how i will thank this guy that time. It’s our first time in Japan with a good guide, very professional, he got knowledge, speaks very calm and friendly, Its unforgettable. From the moment that we met at the gate, I didn't feel like we met for the first time. I was glad that you enjoyed every feature of the temple, the gate, the insence burner, the tower, the front market etc. Yes, the incident at the end was a bit surprise, but even pleasant. It even added a good memory of our friendship. Now I can't believe that it was such a short period of time that we were together.
