“Full day Kyoto tour”

Lisa was truly wonderful. Her English is excellent and from the beginning she was warm, sociable and very easy to understand. She had a great plan for us but always gave us different options and adapted the day to what we wanted. At every place we visited, Lisa shared interesting and valuable information that really added to the experience. She looked after us so well and was so friendly that very quickly it felt less like being with a guide and more like having a local friend showing us her city. We fell completely comfortable with her and learned so much. We would absolutely recommend Lisa and would happily have her guide us again.

We had a lovely day with Ayumi. She was punctual, organised and very accommodating, made navigating public transport effortless, and booked us excellent local places for lunch and dinner that we would never have found ourselves. What we particularly enjoyed was talking with her about everyday life in Japan — schools, family life and the social system. She is naturally quiet and her style is more about helping you experience the city like a local. A great choice if you value good planning, local food discoveries and a genuine glimpse into everyday Japanese life.

“Fun day exploring Tokyo ”

This was our first day of our first time visiting Japan and it was a fantastic way to start our trip. Ritsuko is a fantastic guide and a wonderful person. We visited a lot of the major tourist spots and Ritsuko gave us a clear understanding of the history and significance behind the sits we visited. Before arriving in Tokyo we were an apprehensive about the train system but thanks to Ritsuko we were able to navigate it successfully without her the following day. Our tour started at 9sm , finished at 4pm with us having achieved much more than we would have achieved on our own. I highly recommend getting a guide for your first day if you haven’t visited Japan before and I highly recommend Ritsuko.
