Japan Tour Reviews

Wonderful Experiences with Makoto

Makoto met us at our hotel prompt and on time. He was prepared with a lot of information regarding our planned destinations with the history. He was so well prepared and willing to share his vast knowledge of Japan, it was a real joy to spend the day with him. His personality really shined while speaking of the history of the castles, shrines and even the Matcha ice cream! We enjoyed 3 days with Makoto even during the unusual heat wave in August. Thank you Makoto for the wonderful experiences in Japan!

Dear Brandon, Thank you very much for your nice review comments. I also had a wonderful time spent with you in these three days. You are so keen to learn about Japanese history and culture. I am so happy to introduce you of the old Nara and deer, which is my home town city. I hope you come to visit Japan again. Thanks again for your choosing me of your guide this time. Makoto

Private Tours in Japan

Learning about Japan has never been easier with our local, expert tour guides leading the way, from a tour through Okayama, to the inner gems of Shikoku.

Ready to take on Japan’s sites and go beyond the usual? Kurashiki's Bikan Historical Quarter is a beautifully preserved Edo-period district, and with a knowledgeable tour guide, you can encounter traditional architecture, willow-lined canals, and charming shops. From historical context, to share stories about the area, it’s time to see the land of the rising sun the right way.

To see a side of Japan not commonly noticed, talk to a local tour guide about peaceful pockets of relaxation like Iya Valley, a rugged setting with high cliffs, vine bridges, and traditional thatched-roof houses waiting to be explored.
