Fabulous Day in Toyko

Our day with Ritsuko was perfect for us. She tailored the day to what we wanted to see and do. She gave us history and context to the sights we were seeing on a very personalized level. Remember touring this way means taking local transportation and a lot of walking. This was just the way we like to see a city. She helped us with everything from buying train and subway tickets, picking a local restaurant when it was lunch time and helping us navigate the shopping district and department store purchases. We were a party of four and everyone agreed we were 100% satisfied with our day in TOYKO. We highly recommend her.

My favorite day of my whole trip!

If you're looking for something different other than sightseeing and want to experience more Japanese culture, you need to book this tour with Yoshie. She was an outstanding guide even before I booked it. I had questions in regards to luggage storage at the station and she offered to store my bag in her car. She also provided an estimation of how much things would cost, as well as an itinerary. We did a lot in 7 hours and never did I feel rushed. From the knife village, washi paper and Tansu chest artisans, everyone was so nice to share what they did, answered all my questions and even allowed me to do some of the process. I even got to make my own washi paper to take home. Also, the place we went to for lunch was delicious. It was like your grandmother cooking for you. I will definitely recommend this to everyone I know that is going to Japan, as well as come back myself.

Wonderful day!

I had an amazing day with Noriko exploring the Naha area. Noriko was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off at my hotel in Chatan. I’m so thankful that I booked this tour as I don’t think I would be able to figure out how to get to all the various popular spots. It was so easy just to let Noriko drive and guide. I learned so much from Noriko - we talked about the history of Okinawa and also the present times. I learned a few Japanese words and a little about the local culture as well. Noriko was very flexible and accommodating when it came the itinerary and changing a scheduled lunch spot to something else. We visited a ramen place for lunch, which was delicious! My favorite part (and a must if you enjoy pottery) is to visit the pottery street near the markets in Naha. I will leave Okinawa with a wonderful and memorable experience because of the tour with Noriko. Thank you so much, Noriko, for the perfect day in Naha!
