Therefore, I have a lot of knowledge about A-bomb survivors, the reconstruction of Hiroshima, and the effects of radiation on the human body, which I can correctly convey to inbound visitors. I have experience in tea ceremonies and calligraphy and am especially good at guiding visitors through tea ceremony experiences. I love to watch baseball games, so I enjoy talking about them with guests from countries where they are popular. I am a volunteer medical interpreter and can respond to visitors' sudden health problems.

Hiroshima is a city of rivers and the sea. Along the rivers Cherry trees line, and the calm Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands, creates a stunning landscape. Also, the sea has many islands called "art islands" which have fantastic arts relating to the art festival "Setoushi Triennale". I am Australian, from Sydney originally but my life with Japan and its culture and history spans 30 odd years and I have been a Hiroshima resident for 18 of those 30 years. “Exceptional Tour of Hiroshima ”
Our tour of Hiroshima with Mayumi is the top highlight of our 2 week stay in Japan. “1 day Miyajima Tour”
Our group of 9 (2 families - 4 adults, 2 teens, 3 kids) had a great day on Miyajima led by Mr. Hideo. He was able to book the water taxi for us in advance as I was having difficulty doing so online. We met at the Peace Museum after our group saw the museum early 0730-0930 (highly recommend) with the audio tour and accompanied us to the water taxi. We were able to enjoy shrines, the rope suspension, and snacks/shopping, as well as take lots of pictures. He recommended a great low-key restaurant for lunch. Our group had a great low-stress time and would strongly recommend Mr. Hideo as a guide.

I'm very happy to receive your excellent review. We used a water taxi, or a World Heritage Route from Peace Memorial Park to Miyajima, for about 40 minutes. We could see the Great Vemrilion Gate at both low tide and high tide. When we just arrived at Miyajima, it was low tide, so many tourists walked uder the Great Vermilion Gate, after a while when we leave, we could see as if the gate looked like floating on the sea at hige tide. We took Ropeway to the top of Mt.Misen where we could command a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea. I'm sure you enjoyed Miyajima tour. I wish you and all your family good health and happiness.

“Fantastic Tour”
Kazumi was a fantastic tour guide, great communication from the very start. We are a family of 4 (2 teenage daughters), the tour was well accustomed for all.
