Himeji Castle, The Set of The Last Samurai or Engyoji Temple
In 1993, Himeji Castle was designated as the first World Cultural Heritage site in Japan. Because of its striking beauty and elegance, it is popularly known as the "White Egret castle", but in fact it was an impregnable fortress. Next, I would like to introduce you Engyoji Temple, where the movie "Last Samurai" starring Tom Cruise and Ken Watanabe was shot. The temple is located about 6 kilometers northwest from the Castle. We can take a bus and a ropeway from Himeji station to the Temple.

“Great Job and made the experience fun and entertaining”
Aki is super nice and she came well prepared for what we specifically asked her. She is very nice, great conversationalist and her English is really good. It was a real pleasure doing the tour with her.

Thank you so much for your lovely review! I really enjoyed helping you find sake you loved, and I’m so glad we could safely enjoy tasting so many different varieties together. Thank you also for sharing stories about your family’s Japanese tableware and winemaking. It was such a pleasure chatting with you! I hope the rest of your trip in Japan is wonderful!

“Tour Kobe learning Japanese phrases”
Kazu was amazing at customising our tour . My teenage daughter could speak some Japanese so he was able to adapt the tour for her level. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend him.
Kazu Y.
Thank you so much for your kind review! I’m glad that you both enjoyed the tour. I hope the Japanese phrase sheets will be useful during the rest of your trip, and that you enjoy trying some of the cheesecake places I recommended as well. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience!

“Kobe tour ”
Natsuko was excellent. She was accommodating and very patient practicing Japanese with my daughter. We really enjoyed the experience and would highly remember her especially if you have children or teenagers.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I’m very happy that you chose my tour at the beginning of your daughter’s stay in Japan to help with her Japanese learning. It was so much fun spending time with you both, and I really enjoyed eating delicious Kobe beef together! I hope I can visit Australia someday and see you again.
