“A great day with Toshi”

We had an outstanding day in Tokyo with our tour guide Toshihiro. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, patient, and professional, and he went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Knowing that my wife deals with a debilitating illness Toshihiro showed exceptional kindness, patience, and consideration throughout the day. He continually made sure we were comfortable, well rested, and hydrated, taking our needs into account at every step. His guidance through the Tokyo metro system was excellent, making navigating the city easy and stress-free. He was always willing to share his knowledge, answer our questions, and provide information about the places we visited. Toshihiro took us to his favourite sushi restaurant for lunch. He was thoughtful in accommodating my wife’s preferences, knowing that she wasn’t normally a sushi eater. He handled the situation wonderfully and made sure we both enjoyed the experience. Toshihiro truly went above and beyond to make our day special. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made a lasting impression on us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We would highly recommend Toshihiro to anyone visiting Tokyo. He made our day memorable, comfortable, and thoroughly enjoyable, and we are very grateful for the wonderful experience he gave us. “Second Tour as Good as the First!”

With Tokyo being so large and diverse we decided to partner with Melody for a second day. After being overwhelmed with his knowledge and enthusiasm the first tour, I was looking forward to another day of his guidance and wisdom to take us through Tokyo. Once again Melody did not disappoint, if anything he overdelivered. The tempo of the second day was a bit more modest. Rather than run from point to point, we traveled at a modest pace, with Melody always inquiring what we would like to do and see. First up was the Tokyo Government Building, with a 360 degree view of the city from the 45th floor. A must to do, especially if you play the piano (You'll understand if you go). Next was shopping in the Daikanyama neighborhood, with a tour of the Tsutaya Books, a must see. Then Melody took us to the most incredible lacqerware store, Yamada Heiando, an absolutely have to go to if you are looking for elegant gifts. Afterwards we shared a lunch at a restaurant that was clearly known only by locals, excellent and ridiculously inexpensive. From there Melody took us to a museum in a department store that was a goldfish exhibit! Who knew? But Melody did and it was a sight to see. A little more walking and shopping and sadly our day was over. What can I say? Melody is the ultimate in tour guides: knowledgeable, passionate about making your day extra special, and just a wonderful person. Don't tell Melody this, but if he charged double his services would still be a steal. So put on your bank robber mask and steal Melody for the day. It will be the best decision you make for all of your Japan trip.

“Shusaku Fabulous Tour!”

Shusaku was the perfect host! He made our night so much fun. What a great way to sample Tokyo's night life with a local.
