“3 days in and around Tokyo”

Our 3 days with Naoya were incredible. He is the best guide we have ever had and we now consider him to be a friend. He was very accommodating to several special requests including finding a location in a national park where my wife’s mother had taken a photo almost 70 years ago so my wife could recreate the same picture. Also, my wife was born on an Airforce Base in northern Tokyo which has been turned in to a 1950’s style American village. He not only took us there, but also wrote up a history of the town. When my wife asked if he had ever been there before, he answered once last week. We couldn’t believe he had spent a day of his time off to research and come scout out the location to make sure we had the best experience. This level of professionalism is way above what would normally be expected from a guide. He was also fun and engaging and was very knowledgeable about the area. He also spoke great English so there were no communication issues which was just icing on the cake. We could not have chosen a better guide or had a better experience. “A walk in the rain”

This was our second half-day tour with Kahoko. It was pouring rain. Kahoko met us at our hotel's lobby in great spirits as if the sun were shining. That feeling became addictive as if the rain couldn't and wouldn't stop us. We explored Kappabashi for a knife purchase and we visited Yanaka which is a mellower section of the city. Kahoko navigated the way and provided a narrative that helped us better understand Japan and its culture. Through the rain, we walked 14,000 steps as if it was a sunny day thanks in large part to Kahoko's positive vibes. We highly recommend working with Kahoko.

“Very good trip and qualified guide”

We have spent whole day with Shoji and it was a greate adventure. We've seen a lot of famous attractions and we traveled conviniently by public transport which saved us a lot of time so we could explore more. Shoji explained a lot about both attractions and everyday life in Japan. Highly recommend !
