Tokyo Tour Reviews

A wonderfull and unique experience

First the walk with Tetsuro in the fish market was really interesting and unique as no tourist is allowed to be there. We could see how the shops are preparing the fish for their client, mainly restaurants and all the different products available. It was really impressive. Then reaching his kitchen place we learned how to prepare sushis which is much more sophisticated than we imagined. Tetsuro is a perfect teacher precise but indulgent We now see the sushi masters in a different way, with much more respect

Tokyo Walking Tour

I've been blessed to have guided walking tours in many places around the world with some great tour guides and Yoshi is one of the best! He is knowledgeable, easy to talk to, enjoys the conversation along the way and genuinely an interesting and nice gentleman. He walked me all over, showed me how to navigate the Tokyo subway system (which wasn't so complicated once he explained everything!) and we put about as many miles on my aching feet as I could imagine in a 7 hour tour...he walked circles around me and could have gone longer! I enjoyed his well prepared historical background, personal pictures and personal experiences. He guided me through the Outer Fish Market and directed me to the best Wagyu Beef and best Sushi in the market! When I come back to Japan next time, I fully intend to engage Yoshi for not only more of Tokyo, but also surrounding areas where he has experience. I can confidently and highly recommend Yoshi, you will have a great experience with him!

Pleasant Guide

Very pleasant guide and in touch with the "teenage". Had a last minute request to see the $20 dollars strawberry but obvious she did not call ahead to make sure it was there so ran around to two places with no luck. Otherwise all was good and she did a decent job accommodating my daughters mobility issues. Young guide who is good but will develop to be excellent. Very pleasant person.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am glad to hear that you and your daughter enjoyed our time together and that I could support her mobility needs during the tour. Regarding the strawberries, as we discussed when you kindly requested the last-minute itinerary change just a few hours before our tour (as all of the original spots had been visited the previous day), it was before opening hours, which made it difficult to call ahead. However, after checking the first store on-site and confirming they had other fresh seasonal fruits, your daughter kindly agreed to check the second location as well. I do apologize for any confusion or lack of clarity during our busy day. Although it was my first experience catering to mobility needs (as I mentioned when I received your first inquiry), I tried my best to accommodate your requests on the go, but I am sorry for any shortcomings. I truly appreciate your valuable advice and will use this experience to improve my services further. Thank you again, and I wish you and your daughter all the best in your future travels.
