I worked as a high school English teacher here for more than 40 years. I love Kanagawa so much. We have many interesting tourist spots, like Hakone, Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama. I got my tour guide license in English in 2009. I am still an English teacher. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, I first came to Japan as a high school exchange student in Inuyama, a historic castle town in Aichi. “Highly Recommend!! ”

Wonderful Guide! I travel To Japan for work 4 times a year. I’m always looking for the correct subway/train and platform and time. Having Mark as our guide, he was able to navigate us to all the destinations smoothly. He knew exactly what train, what time.. we were able to view so much in 1 day. Well worth paying for the tour. Mark English was very good and explain a lot of Japan history. We had a party of 10 people and we all were very pleased. He even took us to Izakaya Alley and we all ate and drank under $100 for 11 people! Ot was a izakaya that locals go to.

Tokyo one day tour for 1st time visitor

“Excellent two days with Mutoh!”

Mutoh was a wonderful and informative guide who was also very flexible about adding elements he learned were interests of ours. When we spike about our love of music, he adjusted our schedule to add very cool record shops and made us a reservation at a fantastic jazz club frequented by Japanese jazz enthusiasts. It was a great night! He helped us understand the culture and was very friendly and easy to be with and learn from. We loved our two days with him as our guide.
