We did not take the tour for first time visitors but wanted to see several things and...we wanted the experience of riding a bullet train. Everything we did during our enchanted day with Mutoh was not expected by Mutoh, everything we did was organized on the run and flawlessly by him without complaint. We had a perfect day and enjoyed meeting him as much as the sights we saw and places we we experienced. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable and did everything to enhance our perfect day. It could not have been better, we hope to be guided by him again but for longer.

Akira was wonderful from beginning to end. Before my trip he quickly responded to Any questions and gave valuable suggestions. Through the tour, he gave historic information and insightful cultural points. He answered all our questions and did not rush us. I would definitely book with him again!

“3 days in and around Tokyo”

Our 3 days with Naoya were incredible. He is the best guide we have ever had and we now consider him to be a friend. He was very accommodating to several special requests including finding a location in a national park where my wife’s mother had taken a photo almost 70 years ago so my wife could recreate the same picture. Also, my wife was born on an Airforce Base in northern Tokyo which has been turned in to a 1950’s style American village. He not only took us there, but also wrote up a history of the town. When my wife asked if he had ever been there before, he answered once last week. We couldn’t believe he had spent a day of his time off to research and come scout out the location to make sure we had the best experience. This level of professionalism is way above what would normally be expected from a guide. He was also fun and engaging and was very knowledgeable about the area. He also spoke great English so there were no communication issues which was just icing on the cake. We could not have chosen a better guide or had a better experience. Hi, Brent and Linda Hi, Tom and Teresa The wonderful three days I spent with you all come flooding back to me. Thank you so much for your overly generous compliments! We were truly blessed with good weather in Hakone, and we even got to see a beautiful view of Mount Fuji—it seems the weather was on our side, thanks to your own good deeds! During our sightseeing in Tokyo, we also happened to come across a wedding ceremony at Meiji Jingu Shrine; what a truly fortunate encounter that was. We also visited Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and Johnson Town with Linda’s mother, and the traditional festival we saw in Kawagoe was such an exciting highlight! I believe all of this was thanks to your own good fortune. Thank you for bringing some of that happiness into my life as well. I wish you both continued good health and a long, joyful life ahead.
