“Fun Day in the City with Grant!”

For our second day with Grant, he once again delivered an exceptional experience—this time with an extra dose of fun. Tokyo is enormous, and having Grant guide us through a few key areas gave us the chance to really soak them in and appreciate the city in a deeper way. He kept the day lively, engaging, and perfectly paced. Grant is simply fun to be with, and spending another day in his company reaffirmed how valuable having the right guide can be. “Great first day in Japan with Grant!”

Grant was everything the other reviews promise—deeply knowledgeable, genuinely enthusiastic, and gifted at bringing each site to life with rich cultural context and stories. He taught us not just what we were seeing, but how to move through Japan with respect and understanding (esp. how to use the subway on our own). But here’s what truly matters: when you’re spending eight hours with someone you’ve never met, in a country where you don’t speak the language, you want to be with a person who immediately puts you at ease. Someone who’s easy to be with, good company, and trustworthy. Grant was all of that! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide, and we recommend him wholeheartedly.
