“Tokyo Tour with Local Guide ”

Booked Dai for my brother-in-law and he loved it. I booked a one-day tour with Dai for my brother-in-law, who's a huge anime and Pokémon fan. It was the best thing I could have planned for him. Dai tailored the whole day to his interests, from Akihabara's shops and arcades to anything he wanted to stop and see on the way. He handled the trains and translation so my brother-in-law could relax and enjoy it. He came back full of stories and a bag full of merch, and really enjoyed it. Dai was also easy to work with when booking. He was responsive and asked good questions about what my brother-in-law wanted to see. If you're arranging a day for a friend or family member, especially a anime or Pokemon fan, I highly recommend Dai.

“Amazing 2 Days in Tokyo!”

We booked a 2 day tour of Tokyo highlights with Tsutomu (Tom) and he was very professional-communicative throughout the process in planning our itinerary. His english was excellent and past experiences of living in the USA made for easy conversation. Our first day with Tom happened to be when Typhoon Dujuan hit Tokyo and he provided several alternative adjustments to our plans to help with the inclement weather and maximize our time here. Over the course of our two days we were able to see all of the places we had originally planned on seeing. Tom’s knowledge of Tokyo gave us an in depth experience of its history, culture and customs. He also kindly took many amazing photo’s of us at the sites we visited - even provided a detailed visual map of the photo locations for easy identification later on. We would highly recommend Tom and would utilize him again - Five Stars! Thank you Tom!!

“Anime areas of Tokyo”

For GoWithGuide, in your name and from your own day: Masazumi gave our 12-year-old the day she'd been dreaming about for a year. We'd booked him for an anime and manga tour of Ikebukuro and Akihabara, and from the moment he met us in our hotel lobby he understood the brief: this was Samirah's day, and he built everything around her. He took us through Animate and the cosplay shop, found her the dress-up outfit she'd been hoping for, knew which floors of Sunshine City were worth the time and which to skip, and ordered us a proper Japanese lunch of sashimi and yakitori skewers that we'd never have managed alone. In Akihabara he steered us through the crane games and then to Kanda Myojin, where he showed us how to purify our hands and pray properly at our first Shinto shrine, and helped us buy our goshuin stamp book for the rest of the trip. It was Silver Week, 30 degrees and the busiest day of the year, and he handled the crowds with patience and good humour, kept us moving without ever rushing, and had endless knowledge to share with a curious kid. By the end of the day our daughter was walking through Tokyo in her new dress and elf ears, grinning from ear to ear. If you have a young anime fan, book him. Highly recommended.
