My name is Yukiko. I'm a Licensed Tour Guide and a Registered Nurse.Thanks to increasing number of repeat, referred and new clients, tour guide is my current main job. I was born and raised in Tokyo. After passing National tour guide examination, I have been worked as a professional tour guide since 2015. I've experienced to guide in various area near Tokyo as well as in Nagano, Kyoto and Osaka. I can do a tour for a wide range of clients such as solo traveler, couple, family, mobility challenged client and a big group. I am a mother of eight years old girl. So I'd be glad to welcome families with young children as well. I used to teach Japanese cultures to elementary students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 at local and private elementary schools when I lived in Canada, United states, and New Zealand (2005-2006). My happiest moments with these children were when they look forward to another lesson every week. All lessons were customized and prepared after discussing with each classroom teacher. It was a challenging job, but this experience broaden my horizon and prompted me to become an English tour guide. I also have a license of the National Examination for certified Domestic Travel Service Supervisor, Registered Nurse and a Medical interpreter.  I've still worked as a nurse during the off- tourism season so that I've kept a medical back ground. There are some common thinking between Tour guide and Nurse, both jobs are required to put myself into their shoes. I'll make plans considering their physical conditions and will arrange any supports after discussing about the tour.  I've already experienced to do several tours for mobility challenged clients who have intractable disease and have a difficulty for a long walking. Mobility challenged customers (cane/wheelchair) are always welcomed.   I'd love to make your trip meaningful and unforgettable. Since I was born in a family of Buddhism priest, reiligion is just a part of everyday life to me. Please feel free to participate in some rituals as a memorable experience in Japan. I can also arrange the tour to a small unknown temple where my brother is a priest, though it's located in coutryside of Fukushima prefecture, a little bit far from Tokyo. And off course, I can guide Tokyo, Narita, Hakone, Mt. Fuji ...and so on. The attraction of Tokyo could be said as mixture of something new and something old. Please feel many attractive dimenshions with me! I had a chance to live in the Philippines for 5 years, and at that time people are so kind and generous to me. Hello/Konnichiha, Welcome to the beautiful Ogasawara islands. I am your guide Shun. I've lived on Chichijima(the main island in the Ogasawara islands group)for the past 10 years. Prior to this I became a scuba diving instructor in 2006 and have worked Australia, Guam and Fiji before moving to Chichijima in 2010. I have a strong background in environmental protection and I am currently engaged in the protection of Albatross on uninhabited island of Ogasawara. I also study Ogasawara native insects and help out with efforts for the removal of invasive species. I love Japanese traditional festival and marine activities as surfing, standup-paddling, fishing and diving. I am not a native speaker of English, However I learned English through working as a diving instructor in various countries. I will guide you the island with 'Omotenasi-heart', the Japanese spirit of hospitality.

こんにちは Hello I'm Atsuko. I am a national certified tour guide. I used to work for Virgin Atlantic Airways as a flight attendant. I lived in London UK three years and Portland Oregon USA a year to study travel and tourism. I live in Tokyo over 25 years with my family. I have 2 children. My son is university undergraduate.He was studying in Christchurch New Zealand 3 years and graduated college there. My daughter graduated university in Japan. When she was high school student,she also studied in Marlborough New Zealand as exchange student. Now she works for travel industry. Travel is one of my precious event. Travel broaden my mind. I enjoy different places,food and culture. Also I like meeting people. I've been traveled 23 countries over 160 cities. After marrige I've been still traveling with my family every year over the world to have special time and precious memory. Since I was traveled with kind consideration in foreign countries and had a wonderful time every countries.
