I’m so excited to have a chance to show you around my favorite spots in Kanagawa prefecture. I was born in Kanagawa. I spent my whole school life, including university, here in Kanagawa. I worked as a high school English teacher here for 40 years. I love Kanagawa so much. We have many interesting tourist spots, like Hakone, Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama. I got my tour guide license in English in 2009. I am still an English teacher. To give an interesting and impressive lesson to young high school students, I’ve learnt and gathered many kinds of information. I also have a license to teach social studies, so I have a wide range of knowledge about Japanese culture and history. I’m sure to provide you an interesting tour.

I have memorized the JR rail system across all of Japan, I use the same train timetable calculators as the station staff, and I have experience using bullet train passes that are exclusive to foreign visitors. I can optimally navigate the Tokyo underground and maximize value from a Tokyo metro pass and also understand Tokyo above ground which will allow for seamless transitions between different metro stations and landmarks with minimal backtracking. There will be a price revision at the end of June My tour fee is Half-Day Tour: 20,000yen for 1-5hours Full-Day Tour: 40,000yen for 5-10hours The time transiting to and from your hotel for pick up or drop off within Tokyo 23wards does not count towards the time. I am also able to guide historical sites and cities such as Kyoto, Kanazawa, Nikko, and Kamakura on request if you pay my rail fare.

“Amazing Tour with Knowledgable Guide ”

Yoko introduced us to East part of Tokyo starting from Ginza and other sightseeing areas located at this sort of the city. Her knowledge and insights were very helpful for the first comers to Japan! Our group of 6 consisted of 4 adults and 2 kids. Yoko was flexible when we would request to make a change in our itinerary and she was able to suggest alternative on the spot. Yoko is a highly recommended tour guide for the family or couples.

“Outstanding tour of Tokyo!”

Tokyo's dizzying array of sights and experiences can be daunting - where to begin? Answer: Akira!! Akira-san guided my son and I on a tour of Tokyo on two separate days, and I strongly recommend him. Akira listened carefully to my general ideas before the trip, and designed an outstanding Tokyo experience. He took us to both major "must see" sites as well as out-of-the way places that gave us a real sense of Tokyo. We enjoyed traveling like locals and seeing local neighborhoods of all types with Akira. He was always prompt and efficient, and very considerate of our needs. For example, when we got too hot on one day, rather than forging ahead he changed plans on the spot and took us to an indoor attraction (Tokyo's National Museum). We thoroughly enjoyed Akira's excellent communication skills and informative commentary about all the places we visited. If you are in Tokyo, I highly recommend allowing Akira-san to enjoy your time there!

Wherever I take my clients to, I have always hoped for them to know what each of the places are meant for locals.
