At the moment (Mar.22), ENTRY to Japan from the countries where domestic infection of new variant of coronavirus is confirmed (including UK, most of EU countries, USA, Canada, South Asian countries) is DENIED. Although State of Emergency in Tokyo and surrounding areas ended on Mar. 21, I can not tell when this border enforcement measure is released. As I came back to Japan from overseas in September 2020, I myself experienced entry to Japan during pandemic and am always following up the situation, because my family member still lives overseas and plans to come to Japan.
Japan hosts Summer Olympic games this year, but audience from foreign countries are unlikely to be accepted except for special cases such as guests invited by IOC and the sponsors.
I will provide this online experience, based on the hope that Japan will open the gate to foreign tourists by coming Summer, but it all depends on the situation of COVID-19.
Let's cross fingers and prepare for the travelling to Japan.
I can work also outside of Tokyo.
“1st time and 1st day in Tokyo with amazing Saori!”
We booked a day visit of Tokyo highlights with Saori for our group of 6 friends. Saori customized the tour to completely suit our wishes. She met us at our hotel lobby and took us under wings to navigate through the complex metro network. We had so much fun learning about Japanese culture and traditions. She’s very knowledgeable and having lived overseas for many years she could explain things in ways that would make sense to us. We would definitely recommend her to our friends and family.
“Nikko full day”
We have really appreciated the approach of courtesy and support of Saori, the tour was planned in a pleasant way and her kindness was a plus
“Full day in Tokyo”
