- The guide will arrive on the train scheduled to reach Tobu-Nikko Station from Tokyo at 8:54 AM. Please wait in the waiting room at Tobu-Nikko Station.
Shinkyo Bridge
Shinkyo Bridge, a vermillion bridge located at the entrance of Nikko Toshogu Shrine, is a popular photo spot for travelers.
It is considered one of the most beautiful and sacred bridges in the country. Built over the Daiya River, Shinkyo Bridge is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Nikko Toshogu Shrine.
Nikko Toshogu Shrine
The main event of the tour is visiting Nikko Toshogu Shrine, dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate. As UNESCO World Heritage Site, it draws tourists globally. Within its precinct, among 55 buildings, the “Yomeimon”, or “Sunset Gate”, stands out for its captivating beauty. Its magnificent splendor is truly breathtaking.
