Yokohama is the first port which was open in the end of 19th century when samurai era finished. Since then, Yokohama has been greatly developed as an international city. You can see many aspect of Yokohama such as Minato mirai , Oosanbashi port, Cup Noodle museum, China town or Western housing complex and Western Cemetery. It will surely attract you!

Kyoko san was on a challenge with us as we were only in Tokyo for the night before leaving Japan very early the next morning. In these times of hardcore covid restrictions she has been like a guardian angel for my family and I. She assisted us the best she could to make our short visit a delight despite the fatigue of the trip. Thanks to her we managed to visit a few things and eat a delicious meal and we loved it so much, we promised ourselves to come back to Japan for a real long visit next time. I was too hasty on the day and tried to do so many things just in a short time but failed. I wanted to know your family especially your awesome three sons and show you the beauty of the Imperial Palace which was too dark maybe due to the infuluence of power saving . (Not only the Imperial Palace , the night was much darker than usual . Due to Corona ? the russian special operation ?) I am really grateful for you and your family's kindness and patience. Kyoko was an absolute delight! I asked her to provide a customized Kamakura tour with Kimono. While I was comfortable touring Kamakura on my own, I wanted to make it a cultural tour where I didn't feel like a tourist in a kimono. Kyoko was kind enough to arrive in a kimono of her own, so it felt like we were a pair of friends out for some sightseeing. Kyoko met me at the kimono rental shop and helped me make some decisions with my Kimono. Once I was dressed we took some pictures together. Fortunately Kyoko is talented with how to take photos and help her clients pose for shots. She has a great eye and she took pictures of me at each place we went ! We started at a temple where I could pick up a beautiful goshuin-cho (shrine/temple book) and I got my first shrine stamp in it there. We visited some of the greatest temples in kamakura and the timing was fantastic, since there were still amazingly colored fall leaves. I wanted to have my first tea ceremony while in my kimono and I jumped at the first chance. Kyoko stepped in and asked me to wait for the ideal place and she was right to do so. I had a wonderful tea ceremony experience at the next temple and Kyoko guided me through the experience. We did lunch together at a place of her own suggestion and we ate some delicious classic Japanese food. We did some shopping on the main shopping street in Kamakura and made certain to get some tasty Japanese confectionary and famous Kamakura cookies. Kyoko brought me back to the kimono shop at the end of our phenomenal day. I was sorry to see it end, but it was a memorable and worthwhile experience.

Because I thought I won't be able to know your comfortable walking pace if I had not been wearing it. Some people seemed surprised because two women clad in Kimono were chatting in English. It was fun! You looked perfect with a colorful red kimono. I am sure we could give a nice impression to people in Kamakura. Kimono and Kamakura is the best combination. We hired Kyoko for a one day tour of Tokyo’s main attractions. She was on then, very friendly and very accommodating. We had a great time and would definitely hire her again if we came back!

It was a nice sunny day for stolling in a garden where plum trees and rape blossoms are in full bloom. Miss Kioko was very keen on understanding our interests, describing very well details of the visited sites, history and up dates of Tokio city. During the tour we visited Tukiji fish market where we had a very nice coffee, tried oyster and sea urchin and learn about the market. Then, we moved to Tokyo Sky Tree. This place was a surprise visit with wonderful weather, where we could see Mount Fuji!. Then we went to Asakusa and visited Sensouji temple , Tokyo's oldest temple. We saw beautiful huji carps. Then move to Tokyo station and Imperial Palace outer garden, Hibiya Park, for a very peaceful and enjoyable walk when we got to know the whereabouts of Japan history. At the end , we said good by in Ginza. Miss Kioko was full of energy and got us excited to a enjoy our day in a very nice way. We are very happy with her tour and thankfully to have her as our guide! :)

The day had a perfect winter weather to see Mt Fuji from Tokyo Sky Tree. So , I am extremly happy that we could suddenly decide to go there and jumped out of the train we were riding. Thiago san loves fish so much , so I wanted to have a lunch in Tukiji's sushi restaurant but due to timing , we had lunch in Asakusa's famous Japanese restaurant. I like the place but it is not a sushi restaurant. What I worried was he might not eat nicer sushi there than authentic sushi restaurants in Tukiji. This is why I recommended he should eat the most expensive sushi there. He was very kind to listen to my advice and had it. I was moved by his pure and nice attitude. I also wanted to take you to authentic Japanese sweets shop but we didn't have enough time. I hope you could get a nice cake in the coffee shop I sent you at the end in Ginza. Anyway, you experienced many things just in one day in Tokyo. I hope they will leave you for a long time as good memories. Thank you for everything again and again.
