Japan Tour Reviews

Great day in Okinawa

Noriko is a very experienced guide who showed us the best of Okinawa in 6 hours, including the history of the island. Throughout the tour she was able to adapt very well to our tastes and also suggest other activities of interest. We truly recommend it.

Thank you very much. That was a great day to guide you around Naha city. You were interested in various things. I was grad to answer your questions and interests. Thank you for choosing to come to Okinawa.

Excellent guide and knowledgeable

Our day tour with Armando was a magnificent experience during our stay in Nagasaki. His English was a plus when comparing with previous Japanese local guides. He was so nice and friendly that made our journey unforgettable. Thanks Armando.

Full day tour, Yumi is a treasure

I had originally had booked a tour with another guide, but unfortunately he injured his knee and was unable to guide us. This happened about a week before our departure and it made us a little anxious but he worked with GoWithGuide to find us a replacement and Yumi was available. We were grateful that she was able to step in and she was fantastic! Our group was 2 couples around age 50. This was our first trip to Japan and our first full day after traveling. Our itinerary included Senso-ji temple, Akihabra, Tsukiji market, the Imperial Palace, and Shibuya crossing. Getting around the city, we mainly used the subway or walked. Yumi met us in the lobby of our hotel in Shinjuku and the first thing we did was go to the ticket counter at the station and helped us to buy Shinkansen tickets for later in our trip. She helped us to learn how to navigate the public transportation system throughout the day which set us up to feel confident and independent for the rest of our stay. I also appreciated her knowledge of history and teaching us the customs and etiquette of Japanese culture, especially at temple and shrines. Yumi was kind, flexible, communicative, had a good sense of humor, speaks and writes English well, and is everything you'd imagine Japanese hospitality to be. Her value is greater than the price we paid and I'd recommend her to my friends and family. If I come back to Japan, I will definitely contact her again.

Stephanie san, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for receiving the best review possible. Thanks to this review, I am now highly motivated to continue my guiding activities, and I will always strive to provide guests with meaningful information. In addirion, I was also surprised that you had researched Japanese language and various aspects of Japan in advance, and knew things that even I. I also enjoyed the tour with you all very much, learned a lot, and had a wonderful cultural exchange. I hope that this visit to Japan has sparked your interest in the country, and I look forward to helping you again when you come back to enjoy all that Japan has to offer. This week, there will be a break in the rainy season and it looks like it will be very very hot. Please take good care of your health and enjoy the rest of your trip. Thank you again. Yumi
