Fukuoka Private Tours & Local Tour Guides

“An Amazing and Unforgettable Fukuoka Tour ”

We had selected Tadashi because he was our age group and had a lifetime history of Fukuoka as he was born there. We traveled to Japan to celebrate my wife's being born in Fukuoka many years ago. Tadashi did an excellent job of helping us remember the Fukuoka of 60+ years ago. He went out of the way to create a special tour for us and we will forever be grateful. After the the Fukuoka and Brady Air Base tour, we then boarded a train bound for Nanzoin Temple in Sasaguri. There he led us through the temple grounds, explaining the significance of statues, symbols and culture. Finally he presented to us the world's largest bronze statue of the Reclining Buddha! We had been to many temples and shrines during our trip to Japan but none could compare to this. Tadashi was a warm, charming person and an excellent guide. The day went by so quickly and my wife and I agree, it was THE highlight of our 2 week trip to Japan. We left having made new friends and memories. The pictures we took will always bring smiles to our faces and remind us of how lucky we were to have found Tadashi-san. Thank you Tadashi :)

Hi Douglas-san , I am so glad that you both enjoyed it very much. I was also deeply moved to learn that friendly bonds had been formed between the local residents and the families of the American military personnel. I think It is wonderful that some Brady houses have been preserved and you were able to see them. I am grateful for the wonderful memories we were able to share together. Tadashi

“Fukuoka Tour”

Kumiko was really a wonderful tour guide. It never felt like she was a tour guide, but I mean that in a good way. She felt like a local friend who wants to show you something cool. She also went above and beyond what was expected and agreed upon prior to ensure I had a nice stay in Fukuoka. She is also passionate about the history and buddhist/shinto influence in the area which allows for you to understand what you are looking at in a more in-depth way. Thank you so much Kumiko!!

Jacob, thank you so much for such a wonderful review!!! I know that coming to an unfamiliar place on your own can make you feel a little anxious in many ways, so I'm truly happy to hear that you were able to relax and enjoy your time here. From Momotaro Jeans to the Japanese garden on a rainy day, I made so many fresh discoveries myself during this tour, and I had such a wonderful time with you. I'm truly grateful that you chose me as your guide even though I didn't have any reviews yet. And let's meet again!!!! I'm really looking forward to it!
