Hi everyone. I'm Kazumi. I am a qualified tour guide.I have been guiding Hiroshima since 2010. Through guiding Hiroshima, I can give my guests my knowledge of this area and Japanese culture. At the same time, I can learn their understanding of Japan and the differences between our culture and theirs, which is very interesting. I also believe that meeting with local people is the best way to know the area. I was born and grew up in Hiroshima. I am very happy to give you wonderful time and memories in Hiroshima. I am really looking forward to hearing from you.

Naomi K.
Hello, I’m Naomi, a guide, a rice farmer and a mom of three. I live in the peaceful countryside of Hiroshima. Our family resides in a 200-year-old traditional farmhouse, surrounded by nature and history. I began learning English again at the age of 40, and although I don’t have much overseas experience, guiding visitors has become one of my greatest joys. Sharing Japan through my own eyes makes every encounter exciting and meaningful. I love welcoming people and building connections across cultures. If my hospitality can add a special touch to your journey in Japan, it would bring me great happiness. I look forward to meeting you—thank you!

Miyu F.
My name is Miyu. I have been a Nationally Licensed Guide Interpreter since 2009. I began my career as a tourist guide last year after working as a public servant for nearly four decades. I worked in the Atomic Bomb Survivors Support Division for 12 years until I retired from the local government, and I continue to interact with Hibakusha. Therefore, I have a lot of knowledge about A-bomb survivors, the reconstruction of Hiroshima, and the effects of radiation on the human body, which I can correctly convey to inbound visitors. I have experience in tea ceremonies and calligraphy and am especially good at guiding visitors through tea ceremony experiences. I love to watch baseball games, so I enjoy talking about them with guests from countries where they are popular. I am a volunteer medical interpreter and can respond to visitors' sudden health problems.

Kahori M.
Hi, I'm Kahori, a nationally licensed guide interpreter, and have just started working with GoWithGuide! I’m delighted to show people around this area. For the past almost 10 years, I have mainly guided foreign medical professionals around Hiroshima City and Miyajima, gaining a deep understanding of the effects of radiation and the support for A-bomb survivors. Hiroshima is a city of rivers and the sea. Along the rivers Cherry trees line, and the calm Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands, creates a stunning landscape. Also, the sea has many islands called "art islands" which have fantastic arts relating to the art festival "Setoushi Triennale". In addition to our two World Heritage Sites, this area is rich in attractive resources. I hope many of you will come and experience this fascinating land. Personally, I am very passionate about modern art and enjoy sports like stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) on our rivers. I look forward to meeting you, interacting with you, and also, learning from you!

I was born and raised in Hiroshima, and my love for this city led me to switch from nursing to guiding. As a guide, I specialize in Hiroshima city downtown, Miyajima, Futaba no Sato, Onomichi, and Tomo-no-Ura. I also introduce secret photo spots and hidden gems. Using my experience as a nurse, I prioritize meticulous care and bring my natural brightness, aiming to provide a guide experience that allows you to fully enjoy Hiroshima.

Sei M.
Hello, my name is Sei, a tour guide of Hiroshima, aged 79, quite an old man. But don’t worry, I can compete with young men in walking. Since the beginning of the year 2023, I have given tours to roughly 900 groups,2700 tourists from overseas, I enjoy giving the tour at the two world cultural heritage sites in Hiroshima, the Miyajima Island with the magnificent shrine built over the sea, and the Atomic Bomb Dome in the Peace Memorial Park. Giving the tour at the Peace Park is more meaningful to me than other sites. The Peace Park is a place of thought-provoking. There, you will further strengthen your awareness of peace. Some day in the near future, I will be accompanying you in Hiroshima as your tour guide. Till then, by now.

Hi! Do you want to explore the real Japanese town where most tourists never get to see? Of course, I can guide you through famous places like the Peace Park and Miyajima. But my favorite experience is taking people to a hidden local town just 10 minutes from Hiroshima Station — a place where samurai once stayed, where everyday Japanese life still quietly exists, and where you might even naturally meet and talk with local Japanese people. I’ve lived in this town for more than 20 years, so I accidentally became a local Hiroshima expert xD Because I actually run these tours regularly, I know how to create experiences that feel personal, authentic, and memorable — not just another sightseeing checklist. Many guests tell me the tour became one of the most meaningful parts of their trip to Japan. If you want more than “tourist Japan,” I’d love to show you the real one.

Yoshiyuki Y.
I was born and raised in Hiroshima, and I have been guiding visitors for more than ten years. For the past three years, I have been a professional guide, and I have conducted over 200 paid tours. My specialties are guiding visitors around the Peace Memorial Museum, the Peace Park, and Miyajima Island. I also enjoy introducing people to Saijo, which is famous for its sake breweries. Thanks to my long experience, I am able not only to explain the exhibits and monuments, but also to share the deeper stories behind them. Many of my guests have told me they especially appreciated this. As a second-generation atomic bomb survivor, I feel a strong responsibility to pass on the stories of Hiroshima to people from around the world. At the same time, I want my guests to enjoy the beauty and hospitality of this city. I look forward to guiding you and creating memorable experiences together. Thank you very much

“Incredible Tour”
Our tour of Hiroshima was one of the most meaningful experiences of our trip, and we owe so much of that to our wonderful guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and engaging, bringing the city's history to life with a level of care and respect that made a lasting impression on all of us. She struck the perfect balance between sharing the heartbreaking history of Hiroshima and highlighting the city's incredible resilience, beauty, and hope for the future. Her stories and insights gave us a much deeper appreciation for the places we visited than we could have gained on our own. Throughout the day, she was patient, attentive, and always made sure everyone in our group was comfortable and enjoying the experience. She answered every question with enthusiasm and provided fascinating details that truly enriched the tour. If you're planning a visit to Hiroshima, we cannot recommend her highly enough. She is an exceptional guide who is passionate about her city and genuinely cares about giving her guests an unforgettable experience. Thanks to her, our visit to Hiroshima will remain one of the most memorable parts of our journey through Japan.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and kind review. I hope you and your family have arrived home safely in the United States and have had a chance to relax after your trip. Thank you again for spending time with me in Hiroshima. One of my favorite memories is seeing your four children enjoying their okonomiyaki with such big smiles!!! I was also deeply grateful that even your younger, low-teen child took the time to carefully experience the Peace Memorial Museum without turning away from its difficult exhibits. I truly appreciate the respect and openness your family showed during your visit. Next time, I hope you'll be able to stay overnight in Hiroshima so you can explore the city at a more relaxed pace. I would be delighted to welcome you back and hope to see you again someday! Warmest regards, Kay

Thank you so much for your kind review. It was a real pleasure spending the day with all of you. Now that the rainy season has ended, summer has truly arrived in Japan, and it was quite a hot and humid day. Despite the weather, I had a wonderful time exploring with you. I am truly grateful that Anina brought us together and led to such a wonderful meeting. Next time, I hope you'll stay in Hiroshima for a few days. I'd love to take you to some of the beautiful countryside and scenic spots. Tomorrow is your last day in Japan, so I hope you'll enjoy as many Japanese foods and experiences as you can, with no regrets. Make the most of your final day! I hope to see you again someday. Love, Kay
