“Kahori was fantastic! ”

Kahori was our guide for this half day tour. She was accommodating and friendly as she navigated us to the right place. We got lost and she was willing to meet us and at a new destination convenient for us. She took us to Miyajima and was incredibly knowledgeable about the shrine and history of the island. She encouraged us to try local dishes and pointed out her favorites. She then dropped us off at the Peace Park with a bit of history as well. I highly recommend this tour with Kahori!

“Hiroshima History with Kazumi”

Kazumi was amazing! One of the best tour guides we've had while sailing on a Viking Ocean Cruise ship. She was very informative at all of our sites and was able to answer most questions. We spent a lot of time at the Peace Museum where she had more information than was given at certain points. We saw the big Torii gate in the sea. We weren[t able to visit the Itsukushima shrine becase of time constraints. She introduced us to Okonomiyaki (hiroshima soul food, layered pancake) for lunch. It was very good and quite an experience watching the counter workers chop up the veggies and egg in front of the customers. She speaks English very well and had been very thoughtful throughout the tour. I highly recommend!

“A Meaningful and Personal Hiroshima Experience with Rika”

We were two couples visiting Hiroshima for one day. We arrived by cruise ship and took a taxi to the first metro station, where Rika was waiting for us. With her, we experienced Hiroshima in a different and more personal way than a standard cruise excursion. This was exactly what we liked very much. The weather was not perfect and we had some rain during the day, but Rika organized the route very well and adapted everything smoothly. She has excellent knowledge about Hiroshima, its history and its meaning, which added a lot of value to our visit. During a coffee break, she also taught us how to fold paper cranes in memory of Sadako, which was a very touching and special moment for us. Rika was kind, well prepared, organized and very attentive throughout the day. She helped us understand Hiroshima not only as a historical place, but also as a city with deep emotion, memory and culture. We ended the day beautifully with her choice of a local restaurant, where we tried Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. It was a perfect and authentic finish to our visit. We had a great time with Rika. She was not only a very good guide, but also a very pleasant person to spend the day with. She made our Hiroshima visit feel personal, meaningful and memorable. We would warmly recommend her to anyone visiting Hiroshima..

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Although the weather was unfortunately rainy that day, spending time with the four of you was truly enjoyable for me as well. I’m very happy to know that your time in Hiroshima was meaningful and memorable. I still remember us laughing together while enjoying the okonomiyaki, along with the warm atmosphere of the restaurant itself. I hope those moments will remain as special memories for all of you.
