Keiko K.
Hello, welcome to my profile! I'm Keiko (Kay). As a national certified guide deeply passionate about the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of this area, I am eager to share these experiences with you. With over 16 years of experience living abroad, mostly in Europe, I've had the privilege of immersing myself in diverse cultures and meeting incredible people from around the world. I'm sociable, outgoing and love making new connections wherever I go. I'm also very active, enjoying sports like badminton, biking, jogging, and dancing, especially zumba and salsa. On top of that, I've been playing the piano for over *xx years, a passion that brings balance to my life. (The reason XX is simply because I hesitate to disclose my age...) Health and nutrition are important to me, as is the same to everyone, and I love exploring new ways to stay healthy and enjoy good food! Our itinerary will take us through some of the most iconic landmarks, as well as a few hidden gems that only locals know about. Whether you’re interested in exploring ancient architecture, indulging in the local cuisine, or learning about the fascinating history that has shaped this place, I am here to tailor the tour to your interests. Would I be a good fit for your company here in Hiroshima? Warm regards, Keiko(Kay)

Miyu F.
My name is Miyu. I have been a Nationally Licensed Guide Interpreter since 2009. I began my career as a tourist guide last year after working as a public servant for nearly four decades. I worked in the Atomic Bomb Survivors Support Division for 12 years until I retired from the local government, and I continue to interact with Hibakusha. Therefore, I have a lot of knowledge about A-bomb survivors, the reconstruction of Hiroshima, and the effects of radiation on the human body, which I can correctly convey to inbound visitors. I have experience in tea ceremonies and calligraphy and am especially good at guiding visitors through tea ceremony experiences. I love to watch baseball games, so I enjoy talking about them with guests from countries where they are popular. I am a volunteer medical interpreter and can respond to visitors' sudden health problems.

Kahori M.
Hi, I'm Kahori, a nationally licensed guide interpreter, and have just started working with GoWithGuide! I’m delighted to show people around this area. For the past almost 10 years, I have mainly guided foreign medical professionals around Hiroshima City and Miyajima, gaining a deep understanding of the effects of radiation and the support for A-bomb survivors. Hiroshima is a city of rivers and the sea. Along the rivers Cherry trees line, and the calm Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands, creates a stunning landscape. Also, the sea has many islands called "art islands" which have fantastic arts relating to the art festival "Setoushi Triennale". In addition to our two World Heritage Sites, this area is rich in attractive resources. I hope many of you will come and experience this fascinating land. Personally, I am very passionate about modern art and enjoy sports like stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) on our rivers. I look forward to meeting you, interacting with you, and also, learning from you!

Naomi K.
Hello, I’m Naomi, a certified guide. I live in the peaceful countryside of Hiroshima, where I am a rice farmer, writer, and mother of three. Our family resides in a 200-year-old traditional farmhouse, surrounded by nature and history. I began learning English again at the age of 40, and although I don’t have much overseas experience, guiding visitors has become one of my greatest joys. Sharing Japan through my own eyes makes every encounter exciting and meaningful. I love welcoming people and building connections across cultures. If my hospitality can add a special touch to your journey in Japan, it would bring me great happiness. I look forward to meeting you—thank you!

Yoshiyuki Y.
I was born and raised in Hiroshima, and I have been guiding visitors for more than ten years. For the past three years, I have been a professional guide, and I have conducted over 200 paid tours. My specialties are guiding visitors around the Peace Memorial Museum, the Peace Park, and Miyajima Island. I also enjoy introducing people to Saijo, which is famous for its sake breweries. Thanks to my long experience, I am able not only to explain the exhibits and monuments, but also to share the deeper stories behind them. Many of my guests have told me they especially appreciated this. As a second-generation atomic bomb survivor, I feel a strong responsibility to pass on the stories of Hiroshima to people from around the world. At the same time, I want my guests to enjoy the beauty and hospitality of this city. I look forward to guiding you and creating memorable experiences together. Thank you very much

Hiroshima Tour Reviews
Skylar W.
“The best tour guide!”
A friend and I were lucky enough to book a private tour of Hiroshima with Rika. She took us on a thoughtfully planned tour of some incredible historical sites and gave us unique information at every stop. Rika has spent most of her life in the Hiroshima area so she is full of interesting bits of trivia and showed us places we never would have found on our own. She even took us to an amazing hole in the wall restaurant with a food specific to the area. It was such a great meal and gave us a super local feel which was really cool. I can't recommend Rika enough, this tour was definitely one of the highlights of my Japan trip! She was even nice enough to take photos for us along the way and added so many little touches that made the tour feel personal and special. Despite the difficult and tragic subject matter, this tour was a lot of fun and I certainly learned a lot about Japanese culture and history! 5 stars :)

Thank you for the lovely review. Although it was only half a day, I really enjoyed the time with both of you. Your interesting stories and warm smiles made it special. Hiroshima has a tragic history, but I’m glad you were able to experience more than just that and feel its true charm. Please come visit Japan and Hiroshima again someday! Rika

“A fuller picture and understanding of Hiroshima as a city than you would get on your own”
Our group of four women visited the Peace Museum on our own and met Miyu-san afterward. The Peace Museum is a powerful place and walking through it is a very personal experience. The afternoon with Miyu-san afterward provided us with a fuller picture of Hiroshima residents before the war and after the bombing. After a leisurely but emotionally moving walk through the Peace Park, we walked through side streets, read plaques and learned their significance. We made a short trip to Hiroshima Castle but instead of touring interior opted to visit Mitaki-dera, a tranquil Buddhist Temple with three waterfalls. A perfect soul-filling experience to round out our day in Hiroshima. Miyu-san planned an excellent experience.

Miyu F.
Thank you so much for your heartwarming review. I truly admire the care and sincerity with which you visited the Peace Memorial Museum and engaged with Hiroshima’s history. I’m happy you enjoyed the peaceful walk at Mitaki-dera. It was a joy for me to spend two days with four wonderful women. I hope you made it home safely, and I hope to welcome you back to Japan and Hiroshima again someday.

“Informative, enjoyable, and efficient afternoon”
Miyu-san welcomed us warmly and led us through an afternoon with efficiently planned transportation, just the right amount of walking, informative stops along the way, and plenty of photo opportunities. We saw aspects of Itsukishima Shrine that we would have missed on our own and was grateful for the time spent at Daishoin Temple.

Thank you very much for your detailed review. It was a pleasure spending half a day with you on beautiful, sacred Miyajima in such lovely weather. I hope the memories from your last stop in Japan will remain in your heart forever.
