“Wonderful day in Kyoto with Masahita”

Masahita knows the history and cultural significance of the shrines, temples, and important sites in Kyoto. We enjoyed spending the day with him. Masahita is a true Japanese gentleman who looks out for his guests and goes the extra mile to take care of their needs. He walks at a brisk pace and keeps his group on task so that you can cover a lot of ground in a single day. He explained so much about the Japanese religious customs. He also prepared a dossier for us with very helpful recommendations for our free day in Kyoto. I highly recommend Masahita.

Sam Thank you for traveling such a long distance with your wife and sons to visit us on your family trip. Kyoto, the ancient capital, now has only a few places left where one can still sense the serene and austerely elegant atmosphere of the old court culture. We had such an amazing time with Jasmine as our guide in Kyoto. She is incredibly friendly, easygoing, and just genuinely fun to spend time with, which made the whole experience feel really relaxed from the start. She knows the city so well and shared everything in a super engaging and natural way, mixing history with cool little details that you would never find on your own. It never felt like a typical tour, it honestly felt more like exploring Kyoto with a friend who knows all the best spots and stories. On top of that, she was really thoughtful and attentive throughout the day, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. She also gave us great recommendations for the rest of our stay, which we ended up loving. Jasmine is seriously awesome and one of the highlights of our trip. We would 100 percent recommend her to anyone visiting Kyoto.

“History, Serenity, and Beauty”

We were impressed with Hiroyuki T. almost immediately when we met at our hotel and planned our itinerary with him on the spot. There had been some issues with the tour description on the GoWithGuide website and we neglected to coordinate with him before our arrival. He handled the last-minute schedule efficiently and came up with an organized plan. We were able to visit several temples and gardens we had not seen on previous visits; enjoy a Japanese/Western lunch; and learn many details about Japanese Buddhism we’d never learned before. Hiro even gave us meditation instructions in a beautiful, serene Zen garden. Thank you, Hiro.

Thank you very much for your kind message. I always say it is necessary to visit at least one of the shrines, one of the temples, one of the Jodo gardens and one of the Zen gardens to understand the profundity of Kyoto.
