It also has a lot of traditional crafts,such as kimono, fans, Japanese artistic sweets. There are a lot of things to do and experience. First of all I will take you to Gion area.I will take you to Yasaka Shrine and Kenninji Temple. Then let's move to the Nishiki market. and have sushi lunch in the market. Gion is the area of entertainment, where there are many bars and taverns. Some important business and political talks have been conducted. You may run across Maiko and Geiko, Japanese entertainers in kimono. If you want to wear Japanese costume in Gion, I can arrange with extra charge. NIshiki market is the kitchen of the Kyoro, where local people buy their everyday food. Fish stores, vegetable stores, pickles stores and so on. A friend of mine owns a Yuba shop in the market. Yuba is vegan, dairy-free ,gluten free,preserve-free, additive-free and protein rich. You can see the yuba making process.

“Jasmine is an amazing friend/guide”
Jasmine is friendly, welcoming and funny. She is a must when visiting Kyoto. Her beautiful personality, knowledge and passion for sharing her amazing culture and city goes deeper than just a tour it was a personal, spiritual experience that showed us a multifaceted city filled with tradition history and culture. She has a very big heart and is very caring person, when my daughter felt a bit ill at the end of our tour she helped us find some medication to help her feel well. “A true guide for Kyoto”
Yuka was an amazing host who was genuinely excited to share the secrets of Kyoto and Japanese culture. Her knowledge, insight, and love for her city showed again and again throughout the day. She can create an itinerary from scratch, thoughtfully modify a premade one, or offer excellent suggestions on the best places to visit. She’s helpful, kind, and incredibly easy to get along with. “Exceed expectations!”
It was wonderful day in Kyoto! Koki is lovely person and very well organized. All trip was prepared and planned perfectly, but also he surprised me showing charming places in Kyoto not often visited by tourist. Thanks to him I found charm of old Japanese capital. I experienced tea ceremony in old temple wearing exceptional kimono. Sorry, we had only one day trip! I hope to come back one day. I recommend this guide to everybody with all my heart. My memories are wonderful.
