“Full day Kyoto tour”

Lisa was truly wonderful. Her English is excellent and from the beginning she was warm, sociable and very easy to understand. She had a great plan for us but always gave us different options and adapted the day to what we wanted. At every place we visited, Lisa shared interesting and valuable information that really added to the experience. She looked after us so well and was so friendly that very quickly it felt less like being with a guide and more like having a local friend showing us her city. We fell completely comfortable with her and learned so much. We would absolutely recommend Lisa and would happily have her guide us again.

We had a lovely day with Ayumi. She was punctual, organised and very accommodating, made navigating public transport effortless, and booked us excellent local places for lunch and dinner that we would never have found ourselves. What we particularly enjoyed was talking with her about everyday life in Japan — schools, family life and the social system. She is naturally quiet and her style is more about helping you experience the city like a local. A great choice if you value good planning, local food discoveries and a genuine glimpse into everyday Japanese life.

“A brilliant day in Kyoto with Yuta”

Despite the rain, we were able to spend a wonderful day in Kyoto with Yuta. Yuta’s German is excellent. His friendliness, his sense of humour and his knowledge of Kyoto are brilliant. Thank you so much for the wonderful day we spent together in Kyoto! Even with the rain, we managed to visit so many beautiful places and share some really memorable moments. I loved sharing stories about Kyoto's history and culture with you, and I'm so glad you enjoyed the photos too. You're both such warm, easygoing and energetic people, and honestly, days like that are exactly why I love doing this job. It was a real pleasure spending time with you both.
