It also has a lot of traditional crafts,such as kimono, fans, Japanese artistic sweets. There are a lot of things to do and experience. First of all I will take you to Gion area.I will take you to Yasaka Shrine and Kenninji Temple. Then let's move to the Nishiki market. and have sushi lunch in the market. Gion is the area of entertainment, where there are many bars and taverns. Some important business and political talks have been conducted. You may run across Maiko and Geiko, Japanese entertainers in kimono. If you want to wear Japanese costume in Gion, I can arrange with extra charge. NIshiki market is the kitchen of the Kyoro, where local people buy their everyday food. Fish stores, vegetable stores, pickles stores and so on. A friend of mine owns a Yuba shop in the market. Yuba is vegan, dairy-free ,gluten free,preserve-free, additive-free and protein rich. You can see the yuba making process.

“Visit to Kyoto”
I went to Kyoto for the first time and my guide was Yuma M. She was 6 stars and k ew what she was talking about. I will say if you can get her for your tour to Kyoto, please do it. “Friendly, Knowledgeable and Enthusiastic Tour Guide”
Takashi was a fabulous guide. He generated two itineraries for us based on what we wanted to see, and made a great plan to see many of Kyoto's great sights. Takashi met us at our hotel, and we went on great tour through the city, seeing sites such as the bamboo forest, Fumishi inari, Yasaka pagoda, Gion and many other locations along the way. We travelled as a group of two, we managed our to navigate ourselves around Tokyo effortlessly, same as Osaka. What we really gained from this was knowledge, history, facts, culture and a deeper meaning to what we are seeing and experiencing from a local (Takashi) who has a real passion for his work. Takashi made our Kyoto trip so much more valuable then just seeing the sights. Thank you Takashi ありがとうごしました

“wonderful time in the Higashiyama district”
Ana, highly talented, knowledgeable guide of sites--temples, shrines, pathways which offer great beauty with fewer people--this area should not be missed. Ana keeps the pace, knows the easiest routes, viewed all the sites and gave extra time beyond 4 hours.
