“Enjoyable & informative day exploring Kyoto castles, palaces and temples”
We very much enjoyed our day with Makoto. The sites visited were an interesting selection where we could learn more about Japanese history and culture. Makoto is a very thoughtful guide, providing us with material to take home as well as a momento of our day together. Having Makoto guide us between the four sites made the day so much more seamless than if we’d tried to do it ourselves.

Dear Ian, Thank you very much for your nice comments. It was so hot today but I have enjoyed the tour with you as you are so keen to learn about the Japanese history and culture. Also you brought good memory of England and U.S. for which I enjoyed very much. It was amazing that you enjoyed "Ochazuke" (rice with tea), and "Kakizouri" (shaved ice), which is typical Japanese food. You fit Japanese culture so well and quickly. I am sure that you find more of Japanese culture and food in your trip. Thanks again for your choosing me of your guide this time. Makoto

“Enjoyable and Informative Day in Kyoto”
We had a very good day with Hiroko. The sites visited were a wonderful introduction to Kyoto. It was a very hot day but we took regular stops for drinks and lunch which is the advantage of having your own personal tour guide. It was lovely to get to chat to Hiroko. I highly recommend this tour.

Ian, I am truly honored by your kind, generous and quick review. All of you were so nice and intelligent, and I really enjoyed being your guide in Kyoto. Thank you very much for being patient with the heat of the day during the tour. I hope you will enjoy the rest of your stay here in Kyoto and will visit the city again sometime in near future. Please send my warmest regards to your family for me. Sincerely, Hiroko

“A truly unforgettable day in Kyoto!”
We had the pleasure of spending a day in Kyoto Yoshie, an exceptional guide who made our experience truly unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the city's rich history and its many beautiful temples, sharing fascinating insights at every stop. His deep respect for the culture and his polite, thoughtful manner made us feel very welcome and cared for throughout the day. What made the experience even more special was the personal touch—his wife had crafted beautiful origami pieces, which he gifted to us as a lovely surprise. It was such a heartfelt gesture that added warmth and charm to the day. We ended our tour at his favorite Izakaya, where we shared a delicious meal together. The food was amazing, and it felt like we were enjoying dinner with a friend rather than just a guide. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone visiting Kyoto. His passion, kindness, and attention to detail made our day truly magical!

Hi Ewa. Thank you so much for your heartwarming comment on my tour yesterday. I also had a great time guiding and talking with you three. I am very pleased to learn that you liked the origami my wife made and the food at the izakaya. I hope you will continue a pleasant trip in Osaka, Nara and Fukuoka and return home safely. With the best wishes. Yoshie
