A Day in Tokyo with Ken and Satchi

It was a wonderful day. With Ken acting as guide and Satchi driving, the day set up perfectly. We arrived at each location easily and were picked up when we were picked up when we were ready to move on. There were no delays lookinng for parking. Ken was very informative about each location and its history. We were able customize an itinerary prior to the day. They met us at the cruise terminal with a car that easily held our luggage. After a five hour tour, they dropped us at the airport. Ken took photos along the way and emailed them to us as a momento. It was the perfect way to use the time between the ship's arrival and our evening departure for Tokyo. I highly recomend Ken and Satchi.

A day full of adventure combined with learning local customs taking in the sights. Most amazing guide ever

We had the most incredible experience in Japan thanks to our amazing tour guide Dai. From the moment we met, he was warm, knowledgeable, organised, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty and culture of Japan. Our day was thoughtfully planned, balancing famous sights with hidden local gems we never would have discovered on our own. Dai’s knowledge of Japanese history, traditions, food, and local customs made every experience so much richer and more meaningful. Dai was also incredibly patient, helpful, and attentive. What truly stood out was his ability to turn a day into an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, learning, and wonderful memories. We felt completely looked after from start to finish. If you’re travelling to Japan and want an authentic, seamless, and memorable adventure, we could not recommend Dai more highly. Thank you for making our trip so special, we will treasure these memories forever! Also thank you for your extra help in sourcing a specific knife for our son who is a head chef in Australia.

Visit to Sumo Museum, and Famous Kiyosumi Garden

Thank you sooo much to Mr Yamasan for arranging a very interesting and informative morning indeed. I really appreciated his general knowledge and grasp of the English language. It was a fun time and Yamasan was very kind and prepared for the tour well. Hontoo ni arigatoo gozaimashita.

Thank you very much for your great comment. It was a very short tour, and most of the museums in Tokyo were closed on that day. I was wondering how I could satisfy you in the limited time; however, at Fukagawa Edo Museum, we could feel like being in an Edo town, and there were also displays regarding Sumo. It was especially nice, since we visited the Sumo town of Ryogoku and saw some Sumo wrestlers first that morning.
