“Yasukuni Shrine and Nakamise Street”

Kota was great to work with, we spent a lot of time planning our customised tour. Kota was lovely and patient with all my questions and ideas. He explained what was possible and what would not work. The tour group were corporate executives, and I believe Kota had as much fun as the executives. It was a casual tour which suited most of the group, although a couple executives would have preferred more storytelling/history/facts. This tour was a morning tour of Yasukuni Shrine, including the War Museum and then shopping at the Nakamise Street stalls. From here Kota was kind enough to take the group to meet up with their next tour group which was the Grand Sumo Tournament. Kota was great with the group and was flexible to accommodate the requests of the group.

“Mt Fuji Day Trip”

They had a gorgeous day at Mt Fuji and the weather remained clear, sunny and beautiful for the whole day. Comments on Mt Fuji was it was spectacular and breathtaking. The group opted to experience the bullet train back to Tokyo and commented it was fast but the train itself felt tired and in need of an upgrade, the group were in first class (green).

“Outstanding guide”

Highly Recommend Ritsuko! We had an amazing experience with Ritsuko during our time in Tokyo. She truly went above and beyond in every way. She also kept an eye on our children and made sure everyone was comfortable and accounted for, which was far beyond what we expected from a guide. Ritsuko was professional, patient, organized, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best possible experience in Tokyo. Her recommendations were excellent, her energy was wonderful, and she made our trip both enjoyable and stress-free. Hi Sadaf and Girls, Thank you very much for your thoughtful review, and thank you as well for the two wonderful days we spent together. Despite the unusually hot weather for May, we managed to fit in quite a lot between the Ghibli Museum and teamLab Borderless. From Don Quijote to vintage shops and countless stores in between, we spent so much time exploring that we almost ran out of time for lunch! In the end, I was delighted that each of you found something special to take home from Tokyo. I imagine you are now enjoying a different side of Japan in Kyoto, with its temples, shrines, and traditional atmosphere. Hope you also do your best for your final shopping in Ginza before heading home. All the best!
