I have been living in Yokohama for 40 years, and have been working in Tokyo for 35 years; 20 years as a business person,10 years as a teacher, then I became a tour guide in 2015. Yokohama is a major port city, and the 2nd largest city in Japan. It is one of the most popular sightseeing spots for Japanese tourists as well. However, for non-Japanese guests who are to experience things unique to Japan, without a tour guide, it could not be so stimulating, - a beautiful harbor, traditional garden, fashionable shopping mall, which could be likely to appear not so different from Tokyo, or other Western or Asian port cities. Actually, Yokohama is very special for Japan ! Without Yokohama, Japan would not have been developed into what it is now! Would you find real attraction of Yokohama with me ? During this time, I surveyed many community development sites throughout Japan. I welcomed business leaders to encourage investment in the cities. After quitting my career, I became a film-loving professional engineer. “Amazing Tour with an amazing Tour Guide.”
Steve was very knowledgeable about the area and met my needs of the tour. I really enjoyed seeing the statues and learning the history of each one. The ride was very nice and the car he drove us around in was comfortable. I would love to take another tour with him sometime in the future!

“Superb Guide in Amano-hashidate from Tatsuhiro-san”
I was so worried leaving my elderly mother and aunts alone touring Amano-hashidate, especially since one of my aunts has just got her knee operated so she needs to be in wheelchair. Thankfully Tatsuhiro-san is there and went well and beyond his task as a guide by also taking care my family while showing the beauty of one of Japanese's often missed scenic spot. Tatsuhiro-san also tried his best to show the elderly entourage the area albeit he himself is not from around it. Alas, the weather is not so favorable this time so we got our Ine-Bay boat trip cancelled by the organizer, but thanks to Tatsuhiro-san's effort and kindness, my mother and aunts came back to the hotel full of smiles. Thank you so much, Tatsuhiro-san!

“Group cruise excursion to Ainokura and Kanazawa ”
Lucy was our guide on a private cruise ship excursion for 8 people from Toyama port to Ainokura village and Kanazawa. Lucy was a mine of interesting information about the places we visited. She organised everything so that we had plenty of time to return to the ship. She took us to a very local restaurant where we had a wonderful lunch. We were all very happy with Lucy as our guide and would thoroughly recommend her service.
