I have been living in Yokohama for 40 years, and have been working in Tokyo for 35 years; 20 years as a business person,10 years as a teacher, then I became a tour guide in 2015. Yokohama is a major port city, and the 2nd largest city in Japan. It is one of the most popular sightseeing spots for Japanese tourists as well. However, for non-Japanese guests who are to experience things unique to Japan, without a tour guide, it could not be so stimulating, - a beautiful harbor, traditional garden, fashionable shopping mall, which could be likely to appear not so different from Tokyo, or other Western or Asian port cities. Actually, Yokohama is very special for Japan ! Without Yokohama, Japan would not have been developed into what it is now! Would you find real attraction of Yokohama with me ? “Outstanding tour and overall wonderful day! ”
My husband and I had an incredible day with our tour guide, Raph, exploring Gokayama, Shirakawago, and Kanazawa. From start to finish, Raph made the experience smooth, engaging, and truly memorable. His English was perfect, which made communication easy and enjoyable. His deep knowledge of the area’s history, culture, and hidden gems added so much depth to our visit—he brought each site to life with fascinating stories and insights. Raph was also incredibly flexible, happily adjusting the pace and itinerary to match our interests and energy throughout the day. On top of that, he was personable, upbeat, and fun to be around—it felt like we were traveling with a friend who happened to know everything about the region. “Fantastic Tour of Mount Fuji ”
Aissam is a wonderful tour guide and an absolute pleasure to explore with. His expertise in navigation was incredibly helpful, allowing us to visit all the places we had planned in the Mt. Fuji area. We were fortunate to have a clear day to see Mt. Fuji in all its beauty. There was even enough time to make a stop at a special location I had requested prior to the tour. I highly recommend joining one of Aissam's tours and would certainly seek his help again on future trips.

“Wonderful Tour around Hakone!”
We had so much fun with Kahoko! We went to many fun and interesting places and even got to see Mt. Fuji! Definitely recommend a tour with Kahoko.
