“Fun Energy & Great Food”
We contacted Carrie with a last minute effort to fill one of our open/unplanned days in Yokohama with more than us strolling around, wondering where some of the fun places Yokohama has to offer. Carrie responded to our initial message quickly and after a brief look at her schedule, she was able to accommodate our tour request. She offered two meeting locations and arrived about 10mins early (we only know that cause we arrived 20mins early, not being 100% sure of our train commuting skills lol). We decided on a day (4 hour) tour of ChinaTown and let me tell you, we could have explored 6-8 hours with Carrie’s guidance. She started off telling us about the gates at the entrance/exits to begin our tour and then it was food option after food option! (Come to ChinaTown hungry, very hungry… like skip dinner the night before kinda hungry). We stopped in to have our birth dates explored and explained our past, present, and futures (which was spot on for the most part! Eek) After sampling some more tasty treats, Carrie took us to two different temples, each having different meaning, which she explained in great detail that we appreciated. Afterwards, we enjoyed a tea set and an array finger foods at a local spot and finished our tour with a 30min foot massage. All in all, we had an amazing day with Carrie. She has a great bubbly and lively vibe, is talkative (but not too much), and willing to share all her favorite spot in ChinaTown. We definitely recommend her as a guide and will be using her in the future when we return to Japan!!

“Fun and Informative Day Tour with Tan”
My husband and I had the pleasure of having Tan as our driver and tour guide for an early September day in fascinating Kamakura. Tan is friendly, funny, very knowledgeable, and her command of English is outstanding. Her pre-arrival communications were detailed, and she crafted a well-organized, gently paced, and stimulating itinerary for our visit. Tan effectively and graciously accommodated our requests for meal choices, breaks in the action, and personal shopping, amidst the touring of the gardens, temples and shrines. She skillfully answered our many questions about history and culture as well as life in modern day Japan with frankness and humour. Tan's ability to drive, navigate and contend with routes and traffic was impressive! Arigato, Tan. Mary Lynn and Paul fromLondon, Ontario, Canada.

Dear Mary Lynn & Paul, You guys were my first customers as i only managed to curate my detailed tours this year. It was a great pleasure of guiding world class travelers like you. As experienced former teachers, you guys know how to evaluate a well planned tour before booking it. It is very hard these days to have achieved what you are enjoying like now with Paul who always by your side. I wish both of you happy belated birthday in advance and wish you guys good health always with lots of gratitude and love. Stay safe wherever you are. Respectfully, Tan

“Shizuko is AMAZING!”
I came to Shizuko with a bit of a curve ball. I wanted to visit the Nissan heritage collection in Yokohama, but bookings are Japanese-only. And booking spots is difficult. Shizuko graciously agreed to help, and managed the entire booking process, met as at the nearest train station, escorted us by a local bus to the gates, got us through security and into the museum. She provided some translation whilst there and it was just an all round amazing experience. I plan to return with my fiancée (wife by then) in the future and plan to organise one of Shizuko's regular tours for sure!

Dear Clinton, Thank you very much for such a wonderful review. I’m so glad to received it. It was my pleasure to make a reservation of the museum for you. At the museum, I was happy to see that you and your friends really enjoyed various Nissan cars, sports cars (real racing cars won the Le Mans Race etc.), Nissan GTR etc. that have made Nissan’s glorious history. I hope you enjoyed Takayama, Shirakawa-go and others (beautiful local area in Japan). I’m looking forward to seeing you (and your wife) again in the future. Thank you. Best regards, Shizuko. I have received a thank-you mail from the museum, I attached it below. **** Dear Mr. Kampen, We want to extend our sincerest gratitude for your recent visit to Nissan Heritage Collection. We truly hope you enjoyed exploring our history through various cars which have pioneered an era. Since its establishment in 1933, Nissan has dared to do what others don’t, and Nissan will continue to provide innovative products, technologies, and services that excite people and society. Thank you once again and we look forward to seeing again in the near future. Sincerely, The Team at Nissan Heritage Collection Museum.****
