Hello! I’m Koichiro. Please call me “Yamasan”. It derives from my family name and my friends call me so. I worked for a machinery company as a project manager and engineer for mechanical and electrical construction projects both domestic and overseas for over 35 years. I recall my first overseas project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia when I was 26, and the second was in Singapore. I visited many countries for surveys, meetings, commissioning, project handing over, and so on. In 2014 at the age of 60, I decided to retire from the company and live the expected further 30 years of life with a new career and experiences. I, then, studied translation and guide interpretation. I passed the national examination for licensed guides (English) in 2015 and registered with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in February 2016. Until now, I have been guiding many beautiful guests mainly to popular sightseeing spots such as Asakusa, Tsukiji, Omote-Sando, Meiji Jingu Shrine, and Tokyo Skytree, and also cultural experiences of Origami making, Furoshiki wrapping, and Sushi cooking. I am happy that I can freely arrange a customized tour together with you, or can propose my tours to you. I want to show you some parts of daily Tokyo life and introduce you to Bunkyo City which is located in the heart of Tokyo, just north of Chiyoda City where the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station are. The city is Tokyo’s typical residential and academic area where I was born, grew up, and live a happy life now. Now, we can tour around the world but have not yet overcome COVID-19 completely. Recently, the number of passengers wearing masks on public transportation in Tokyo reduced to some 25% but we should mind about it still. Please carry your mask to wear it where or when necessary (December 2024, Yamasan).

I took my profile picture on the balcony of my home, which sits high on a hill, offering great views of the city both day and night, with majestic mountain ranges in the distance. I was a school teacher here for 25 years, starting in Japanese public schools before transitioning to an American institution. I understand that when traveling abroad, many people prefer a local tour guide. While I wasn’t born in Japan, after nearly three decades here, I consider myself as local as it gets! Not only can I share insights about the local culture, but I can also offer a unique perspective as a foreigner who has grown to love this country as my own. With our comfortable 4x4 full leather interior SUV, we’ll explore hidden gems that typical tour buses can’t reach, making your experience even more special. On our way to the sites, I’ll describe anything that catches your eye so you don’t miss a thing. Hi! I am Kazue. I am from Fukuoka and live in the central city. I spent almost 20 years traveling around the world as a cabin attendant. I had worked for the Japan's biggest travel agency JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) for 35 years as a tour escort for Japanese. I visited 68 countries and of course all over Japan as well. So I’m familiar with almost all of the tourist attractions in Japan. More over I’m also a professional magician now. I’m a member magician of The Magic Castle in Hollywood in US. That's why I made a decision to become an English tour guide. I acquired a tour guide license issued by the Japanese government with a lot of hard work in 2016 and I started from the following year. I work as an English guide approximately 130 days a year. My wife is physically disabled, and I usually care for her. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I receive home care and bathing services, so I am unable to go out during the day as I have to prepare for and clean up afterwards. I am available to guide on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I can take up to four people sightseeing in my private car. “A Beautiful Rainy Day Experience with Mr. Tetsuji Y”
Yesterday, we were very fortunate to have Mr Tetsuji guide us for the day on his Bushido tour. He's enthusiasm and knowledge of the history of the National treasures and traditions of his country were infectious and wonderful to experience. I thought Inuyama castle complex and the Seki sword museum, would be the highlight of my visit, and both were awesome not to be missed visits... But what was truly breath taking was the exhibit at the Washi Akari Art Museum in Mino. A little off the regular tourist path but it's a not to be missed experience. I highly recommend having Mr Tetsuji as your guide and let him show you those hidden gems of the area. Thank you Mr Tetsuji for hosting us and allowing us to experience the joy and pride you have for your country's beautiful culture and rich history. Best Regards Judy and Craig F.

“Nice Day In Mt. Fuji”
Yasoku is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. She met us at the cruise port on time and helped us with the transportation from the port to Mt. Fuji area and back. She took us through the Fujisan Hongu Sengen Shrine and Mt.Fuji World Heritage Center sharing many interesting facts. We were extremely lucky that day with good weather for viewing Mt. Fuji. Yasoku kept our comfort in mind throughout the tour and we had a great day. I can recommend Yasoku for this tour. I recommend doing a morning cruise, as a cloud often forms near the top of the mountain and making view more difficult. The photo was taken from our ship as we arrived.
