Also, the sea has many islands called "art islands" which have fantastic arts relating to the art festival "Setoushi Triennale". Fukui Dinosaur Museum is very popular regardless of age. It is one of the world's three largest dinosaurs. Echizen is also well known for Japan's handmade crafts including kitchen knives, washi paper, lacquer wares, Tansu chests and pottery. Seeing craftsmen's work right in front of you makes you excited and impressed. I have been travelling Kanazawa since my high school age so I know well about the town to show you around as well as Shirakawago, a day trip from Kanazawa. Hi! I'm Koichi. I was born in Osaka, I studied in Kyoto when I was a university student. Now I live in Shiga next to Kyoto. I am a national government licensed tour guide. I have been guiding about 160 groups over the past twelve months. I usually guide my customers mainly in Kansai region including Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Kobe and Shiga by public transportation systems. Well, I am curious about Japanese history, especially the history of Japan's ancient times since I was raised next to the world biggest mausoleum of the ancient Emperor called "Nintoku" in Sakai city Osaka which has just become one of the world cultural heritage sites. I dug out some ancient earthen ware vessels around there when I was a primary school student like the adventure archaeologist “Indiana Jones" (It’s our secret!!). That was my hobby. Now, one of my hobbies is outdoor activities such as mountaineering, kayaking, skiing and others. So I would like to take you to some good places where you can enjoy Japanese unique nature. Hello! My name is Kaori. When I was young I was interested in tourism. I was studying and working as tour conductor around Kanto area in Japan. I lived abroad from my early 20s to mid 30s. Australia, Taiwan, Central America, Great Britain, Spain and Italy. Now I came back and live in Osaka where I was born. Especially trekking in the mountains and MTB trip by myself! I’ve done El Camino De Santiago in Spain 4times! Camino francés, Vía de la plata, Camino Norte, Camino de Madrid, Camino de San Salvador, Camino primitivo. I’ve done Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, too. Hi! I am Kazue. I am from Fukuoka and live in the central city. I spent almost 20 years traveling around the world as a cabin attendant. Meeting different people, different cultures and eating local food were best things in my career. This experience definitely widened my perspective and will help me in some way when I work as a guide. Since I spent half my life outside of Japan, I noticed our culture and traditions are very unique and became more interested in historical sites in Japan. For my personal life, I am a mom of twins. It is still a hard work but I am enjoying a lot with them. We take them around Kyushu whenever possible for their fun and experience. We all love traveling after all. “Hideo was very knowledgeable and fit”
We were a large party and Hideo had ordered us a mini bus with a driver. There were a few hiccups with pricing but everything worked out. He did very well and went with us to each spot and explained a lot of things. He is very fit for his age. Thank you for our wonderful tour.

“A fun day in Tokyo”
Fumie is an excellent guide. We were in town for my wife's semi-business weekend. Since I haven't been in Tokyo before, there was much that I wanted to see on the one free day that we had. I was fortunate to have been able to book a tour with Fumie. She is very accommodating and with some pre-tour communication prior to arrival she was able to get a good idea about what I was hoping to see. We started with a visit to Meiji Shrine and learned quite a bit about its history plus the small details that can easily be missed if we had gone alone. Afterwards, we decided to just play it by ear and, in the end, managed to actually check off everything on my to-see list (Shibuya - Harajuku - Shinjuku). This, in spite of the time spent being sidetracked with my wife's shopping (lol). Seeing Tokyo with Fumie was more like being shown around by a local friend. She is very knowledgable, fun and a joy to spend time with.

“Great Day in Tokyo”
We had an excellent day in Tokyo with Ritsuko. Her pacing was very good, moving efficiently but allowing us time to do some souvenir shopping in the Tsukiji market and other places along the way. She helped customize a tour to our specifications, including Kappabashi Street (Kitchenware) and Akihabara (Electronics). Her knowledge of Tokyo, the temples and shrines was excellent, as was her English. We also stopped at a great place for lunch. She had recommended getting the Suica App before meeting her and that was so helpful. Choose the Welcome Suica App which is in English and allows you onto the metro and busses with a tap of your phone. It also worked in Kyoto and can also be used in convenience stores. You will enjoy having Ritsuko as a guide. She made us feel welcome and informed in Tokyo.
