“Amazing Experience Made Possible by an Outstanding Guide”
Akira is an outstanding guide that we highly recommend for your own trip to Japan. Over the course of 3 days with Akira, he took the time to get to know us individually and what are interests are, so he could tailor our experience to our individual needs. He really knows the city and surrounding areas inside and out, and was able to take us to all the places we wanted, as well as introduce us to special locations we didn’t know about. His knowledge of off-the-beaten-path places to get food exposed us to the best in Japanese cuisine. He shared with us his knowledge of Shinto and Buddhist practices, which made our visits to the shrines so much more meaningful and personal than simple sight-seeing. We learned how to navigate the city and the local customs so that we felt comfortable and competent in Japan. And Akira took pictures of us the entire time, capturing candid moments that we would have otherwise missed. This allowed us to focus on what was going on around us, instead of constantly getting distracted by taking pictures. When we said our goodbyes on the last day, we felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend, and hoped that we would meet again someday.

“Organized, Informative, Fun!!! (With Family of 5)”
Keiko-san was so well prepared and organized for our tour. I shouldn’t be surprised because she was very responsive right from the beginning. The tour did not seem face paced or rushed, even though we covered a lot of ground. My kids (17, 16, 13) liked hearing about the history of the areas that we visited (Tsujiki, Imperial Palace, and Asakusa) and were comfortable asking questions and chatting with Keiko. It was a stinkin’ hot end of June day, and we all survived!
