Hello! I’m Koichiro. Please call me “Yamasan”. It derives from my family name and my friends call me so. I worked for a machinery company as a project manager and engineer for mechanical and electrical construction projects both domestic and overseas for over 35 years. I recall my first overseas project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia when I was 26, and the second was in Singapore. I visited many countries for surveys, meetings, commissioning, project handing over, and so on. In 2014 at the age of 60, I decided to retire from the company and live the expected further 30 years of life with a new career and experiences. I, then, studied translation and guide interpretation. I passed the national examination for licensed guides (English) in 2015 and registered with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in February 2016. Until now, I have been guiding many beautiful guests mainly to popular sightseeing spots such as Asakusa, Tsukiji, Omote-Sando, Meiji Jingu Shrine, and Tokyo Skytree, and also cultural experiences of Origami making, Furoshiki wrapping, and Sushi cooking. I am happy that I can freely arrange a customized tour together with you, or can propose my tours to you. I want to show you some parts of daily Tokyo life and introduce you to Bunkyo City which is located in the heart of Tokyo, just north of Chiyoda City where the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station are. The city is Tokyo’s typical residential and academic area where I was born, grew up, and live a happy life now. Now, we can tour around the world but have not yet overcome COVID-19 completely. Recently, the number of passengers wearing masks on public transportation in Tokyo reduced to some 25% but we should mind about it still. Please carry your mask to wear it where or when necessary (December 2024, Yamasan).

Hello! I'm Steve and I’m originally from Sydney, Australia, but I’ve lived in Kumamoto City for the past 28 years. I hold a Gold license. I’d love to take you on a tour of some of the region’s most historic and stunning sites. I took my profile picture on the balcony of my home, which sits high on a hill, offering great views of the city both day and night, with majestic mountain ranges in the distance. I was a school teacher here for 25 years, starting in Japanese public schools before transitioning to an American institution. I understand that when traveling abroad, many people prefer a local tour guide. While I wasn’t born in Japan, after nearly three decades here, I consider myself as local as it gets! Not only can I share insights about the local culture, but I can also offer a unique perspective as a foreigner who has grown to love this country as my own. With our comfortable 4x4 full leather interior SUV, we’ll explore hidden gems that typical tour buses can’t reach, making your experience even more special. On our way to the sites, I’ll describe anything that catches your eye so you don’t miss a thing. I had worked for the Japan's biggest travel agency JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) for 35 years as a tour escort for Japanese. I visited 68 countries and of course all over Japan as well. So I’m familiar with almost all of the tourist attractions in Japan. More over I’m also a professional magician now. I’m a member magician of The Magic Castle in Hollywood in US. That's why I made a decision to become an English tour guide. I acquired a tour guide license issued by the Japanese government with a lot of hard work in 2016 and I started from the following year. I work as an English guide approximately 130 days a year. My wife is physically disabled, and I usually care for her. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I receive home care and bathing services, so I am unable to go out during the day as I have to prepare for and clean up afterwards. I am available to guide on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I can take up to four people sightseeing in my private car. I am available at any time during evening tours, such as YATAI tours. I look forward to hearing from you. Please ask me first. If it is possible.

Hi! I am Kazue. I am from Fukuoka and live in the central city. I spent almost 20 years traveling around the world as a cabin attendant. “Amazing visit ! ”
Satoshi was an exceptional guide. He went far above our expectations, and stayed with us much longer that expected. He was listening to everything we were asking, was full of knowledge and overall just such a great human being. His French was absolutely perfect. If we could rate 10,5/10, we would ! Thank you so much ! Satoshi a été un guide exceptionnel. Il a largement dépassé nos attentes et est resté avec nous bien plus longtemps que prévu. Il était à l'écoute de toutes nos questions, nos attentes, très compétent et, en somme, une personne formidable. Son français était absolument parfait. “Osaka beginners day tour ”
My family of 4 ( 2 teen girls and parents ) had an amazing day with Kiori . She is very easy to chat with and friendly . My girls , husband and myself all enjoyed her company. She walked us through amazing food markets , Osaka castle and more . She made the whole experience more fun , interactive and meaningful .She never rushes you and gave us wonderful options for good food and snacks based along the way ,based on preferences . My girls mentioned Nintendo so she also took us to the Nintendo store. If you are in Osaka don’t hesitate and book with her , u will have much more fun than walking around on your own !

“What a wonderful day in Tokyo”
Ritsuko was an amazing tour guide. Our group of 4 had an outstanding time with her during our one-day tour of Tokyo. She was very kind in helping us navigate the train stations. The visits to Seno-ji Temple and Meiji Shrine were awe-inspiring. Ritsuko also took us to Kitchen Street, where we were able to purchase knives and chopsticks from wonderful local shops. Ending with a stop at Shibuya Crossing, our trip gave our group a real sense of why Tokyo is one of the world's most amazing cities. Ritsuko could not have been more kind, knowledgeable and conversant. I would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Tokyo. We wish her safe travels to North America for the World Cup!
