I have been living in Yokohama for 40 years, and have been working in Tokyo for 35 years; 20 years as a business person,10 years as a teacher, then I became a tour guide in 2015. Yokohama is a major port city, and the 2nd largest city in Japan. It is one of the most popular sightseeing spots for Japanese tourists as well. However, for non-Japanese guests who are to experience things unique to Japan, without a tour guide, it could not be so stimulating, - a beautiful harbor, traditional garden, fashionable shopping mall, which could be likely to appear not so different from Tokyo, or other Western or Asian port cities. Actually, Yokohama is very special for Japan ! Without Yokohama, Japan would not have been developed into what it is now! Would you find real attraction of Yokohama with me ? During this time, I surveyed many community development sites throughout Japan. I welcomed business leaders to encourage investment in the cities. After quitting my career, I became a film-loving professional engineer. “Excellent guide and respect towards his dedication! ”
Kei-san is an experienced and excellent guide that led us to beautiful places in Sado Island. His strong command of English led us to a deeper appreciation of the Tokis on the island, which I would have completely missed if I had gone to the conservatory on my own. He also strongly recommended us to witness a local festival at a shrine which was such a treat! Lastly, at his old age, he continues to attend English lessons on a weekly basis to enjoy what he does best - to show to the world what Sado has to offer! Highly recommend!

“Excellent Choice”
We were very pleased with the way Shunta made accommodations for us. My husband has mobility limitations so the usual modes of transportation were not an option. His English is excellent and easy to understand. His vocabulary is superb. He was very good at explaining the history and meaning of various sites. Highly recommend.

“Informative Tour of Tokyo Hot Spots”
Virginie was a lovely tour guide. She showed us all the must see spots, the history of each and the cultural traditions. She also was very accommodating for lunch as I do not eat seafood. I would recommend Virginie to anyone looking to experience the Tokyo hotspots.
