It was a pleasure for me, too, to spend such a wonderful day with your warm and welcoming family. It was a hot summer day, and I’m sure you were tired from the jet lag, but I’m grateful that everyone walked so much, listened so attentively to the stories, and showed such interest in different cultures and histories. I was also delighted to see that your boys had such a healthy appetite, showed such genuine curiosity about new foods and ways of eating, and cleaned their plates!!!　I hope that during your two-week trip, you’ll discover many beautiful sights and delicious foods in each region and make wonderful family memories. Thank you, Ron. What a fun day we had together! I really enjoyed all the questions you asked about Japanese culture and history, and it made me so happy to see you taking notes throughout the tour. My favorite question was, "Is it appropriate to wear shorts in Japan?" During the tour, we visited Shibuya Crossing, Meiji Shrine, Takeshita Street in Harajuku, enjoyed some delicious okonomiyaki in Kagurazaka (it really was amazing!), and finished the day at a maid cafe in Akihabara. I hope you also had a great time shopping for electronics afterward. It truly meant a lot to me when you called me your friend. I hope to see you both again someday, my friends!
