“Great guide!”

Akira was great. His English is excellent, no accent. You will have no trouble understanding everything he says. He has a low key relaxed demeanor and is pleasant to be with. We appreciated how he taught us the proper process of approaching and praying at the shrines. Before our trip he asked us questions about how we would like to spend our day. We gave him some general parameters and based on that he gave us a suggested itinerary, which included visiting shrines, quiet off the beaten path neighborhoods, and busy/popular areas. His plan was perfect.

I will remember what Melanie said today, when we talked about sweet grandma at the place we enjoyed delicious tangerines, "Kindness is universal." I totally agree. “Magnifique visite de YANESEN ”

Famille de 4 avec deux enfants, nous avons réservé une promenade à Yanesen en pm le 1er jour après notre arrivée. Nous avons communiqué très facilement avec Yoko, elle parle très bien la langue, a répondu à nos questions et nous a raconté des histoires intéressantes de la vie quotienne mais aussi des coutumes. Elle s'est adaptée à notre rythme avec la fatigue du 1er jour. Nous avons fait une belle visite du quartier et fait un atelier dans un café maneki Neko, un arrêt agréable et nécessaire pour l'énergie des enfants. Le temple Nezu est magnifique mais on a eu peu de temps à la fermeture avec tout de même une belle lumière de fin de jour. C'est le seul regret d'une magnifique journée, ne pas avoir eu plus de temps là. Yoko est une très bonne guide et s'adapte parfaitement. Le quartier est très beau, les anciennes maisons, cafés, marchés valent le détour. Un quartier où il est bon à vivre et à revenir! Merci Yoko et à la prochaine!
