Japan is a beautiful country with a long history, tradition and rich cultural heritages, having various features in each of the four distinct seasons. Although there are now many visitors from abroad, mainly from Asian countries, they are mostly interested in shopping taking advantage of cheaper yen rather than understanding our people and culture. Kyoto and Nara are the two cities best known by foreign tourists, but not all the aspects of Japanese culture are concentrated there. If you visit the countryside other than these two cities, you will never fail to see the beautiful natural surroundings and people who will warmly welcome you. “Fiipino Cultural Immersion tour w/ Moses”
I’m in Japan working on a book about Filipino migrant labor in Tokyo, and I contacted Moses in the hopes that he could organize a tour that might offer a glimpse of Filipino life in the city. Moses more than delivered: he took me to several Filipino-owned businesses (grocery stores, restaurants, etc.), the Philippines embassy, introduced me to his Filipino co-workers, etc. We also took time out to have an all-you-can-eat Filipino dinner (including karaoke!). But the best part of the tour was getting to know Moses, who is an incredibly warm, friendly, and thoughtful person, who shared his own insights and experiences living in Tokyo. Moses’s tour was immensely helpful for my research, and it’s clear that he can lead an excellent tour that suits any visitor’s particular interests and needs. An excellent tour guide, a wonderful person—hire him!

Natsuko was a very accommodating guide. She is highly recommended especially for first timers and those traveling with children. She takes in consideration what is most important to you as a tourist. She made a reservation for us at an amazing Kobe beef restaurant as well. We will definitely book her again on our next visit to Japan.

“A kind and attentive guide who made us feel welcome”
We spent one and a half days touring Kanazawa with Haru and truly appreciated her punctuality and sense of responsibility. When we arrived at our ryokan on the first day, she was already there waiting for us, which made us feel very welcomed and well taken care of. Haru was knowledgeable about the main sights, and she made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour. Overall, it was a pleasant and enriching experience.
