Yokohama is a major port city, and the 2nd largest city in Japan. It is one of the most popular sightseeing spots for Japanese tourists as well. However, for non-Japanese guests who are to experience things unique to Japan, without a tour guide, it could not be so stimulating, - a beautiful harbor, traditional garden, fashionable shopping mall, which could be likely to appear not so different from Tokyo, or other Western or Asian port cities. Actually, Yokohama is very special for Japan ! Without Yokohama, Japan would not have been developed into what it is now! Would you find real attraction of Yokohama with me ? I dug out some ancient earthen ware vessels around there when I was a primary school student like the adventure archaeologist “Indiana Jones" (It’s our secret!!). That was my hobby. Now, one of my hobbies is outdoor activities such as mountaineering, kayaking, skiing and others. So I would like to take you to some good places where you can enjoy Japanese unique nature. “So much fun... and she was sooo happy to make us happy!!”
So we were on a cruise ship, and had a couple of stops that the excursions were full... so one of my employees arranged for us to go out with a driver and guide who did not speak alot of English.. and it was the BEST.... She was sooo happy to make us happy.... We used Google Translate... ended up at the Aquarium... where she called Jelly Fish - Jelly Beans!! it was the BEST.... One of the BEST tours we had.... she even took us to a special new store so I could get the sourveneir I wanted!!
