“A wonderful day with a calm and generous spirit”

My two teenage daughters and I spent a wonderful day with Rika. Her love of her City is plain but she also very generously welcomed us into her home on the island of Ninoshima. We had a very relaxed and enjoyable morning with a variety of creative and cultural activities - calligraphy, onigiri making and paper crane folding. The onigiri were delicious and fun and easy to make, something I hope we can bring home with us. Rika was patient and thoughtful in her explanations of Japanese culture and Hiroshima's history. Despite the devastating history, peace and the beauty of the City and spirit today was always the positive focus. Thank you so much for a special and memorable day.

I still remember how focused everyone was during the calligraphy session. It was such a special moment. I hope the scent of the ink was also something you could relax and enjoy. “Fantastic Day!!”

We had such a great day with Rika. She met our family at the train station and took us on an amazing tour of Miyajima and Hiroshima. We saw all the important sites, had an amazing lunch, and learned so much. Rika was so thoughtful and had so much insight to share with us. I highly recommend her if you want to have a great day. “Hiroshima City Sightseeing Tour with Hideo”

Thank you Hideo, absolute pleasure to have met you. This was a great tour, pity the castle was closed but the samurai standing guard and taking photos with them made up for it. Hideo is kind and caring making sure everything worked out for us. Lunch was Okonomiyaki, and was the best in a little local spot only Hideo knew. Definitely better than cruise ship tours. Would do this again in a heartbeat. Arigato Hideo

I'm very happy to receive your excellent review. I was very surprised to see your guest offering a big paper crane and a set of 1,000 paper cranes at Peace memorial Park. This is the first time I've ever seen foreign tourist bringing paper cranes. I'll never forget her kindness and thoughtfulness. We could enjoy having Okonomiyaki, a popular local food, at the restaurant with the common touch. I hope to see you again. I wish you all the best for your good health and continued success.
