“Tour deludente / Disapponing tour ”

ITA: Ho prenotato questa visita guidata con l’obiettivo di visitare i punti principali di Tokyo e scoprirne la storia e curiosità a riguardo. Purtroppo sono rimasta molto delusa dal tour a causa della superficialità e mancanza di entusiasmo da parte di Virginia nell’esporre la storia dei luoghi visitati e nel rispondere alle nostre domande. Quello che pensavamo sarebbe stato un arricchimento culturale si è rilevato essere un tour che avremmo potuto fare tranquillamente da soli, leggendo qualche informazione su Internet. EN: I booked this guided tour with the goal of visiting key spots in Tokyo and learning about their history and interesting facts. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed; Virginia’s presentation of the history of the places we visited—as well as her responses to our questions—lacked both depth and enthusiasm. What we had hoped would be an enriching cultural experience turned out to be a tour we could have easily done on our own, simply by reading a bit of information online.

“A wonderful introduction to Tokyo with Yumi”

We hired Yumi to guide us during our first two days in Tokyo and help us get oriented to the city, and we are so glad we did. She helped us understand and appreciate the places we visited. Her English was excellent and very easy to understand, and she was warm, attentive, and happy to answer our questions. By the end of our two days with her, we felt much more comfortable exploring Tokyo on our own. We highly recommend Yumi - if you have the chance to take a guided tour with her, you will have a wonderful day!

“Great Tour!!! ”

We had a fantastic experience on our walking tour! Akira was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming, and helped us feel comfortable and confident during our first time in Japan. He showed us both the must-see highlights and hidden gems we would never have discovered on our own. We learned so much about the culture and local area, and the tour was a wonderful way to get our bearings and start our trip. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan for the first time

Dear Megan, Thank you so much for the wonderful review. It was my pleasure to be part of your very first Japan visit. I was wondering if it was a bit too long of a walk for the very first full day in Tokyo but I am so happy that you all had a great time. I hope you got a sense of what it is like to be a local of Tokyo through the long walk, navigating trains, having lunch at the local restaurant, being part of the flow of the massive crowd.
