We had a wonderful experience with Shinya E. in Japan! He was incredibly respectful, knowledgeable and thoughtful throughout our customized tour of Omotesando. He took us on an amazing walking tour that included the beautiful Meiji Jingu Shrine, Nezu Museum, and Tokyo National Museum. His knowledge and storytelling brought each location to life, giving us a much deeper appreciation for the history, architecture, art, and culture of Tokyo. What made the experience especially memorable was his warm and personal approach. He made every place feel special and helped us see these incredible locations in a completely different way. We absolutely loved our time with him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, respectful and engaging guide in Japan. He truly helped make our visit unforgettable!

“Tokomo was wonderful”

Tomoko was a fabulous introduction to Tokyo and how to get around in this big complicated city. She met me at my hotel and we traveled by train to the Imperial Garden in the morning and then in the afternoon she introduced me to Sumo! Sumo was totally new to me and I had wanted to learn more. She arranged tickets to see an afternoon of matches leading to a national championship. She knows all about Sumo and the matches were a perfect introduction to this lesser known aspect of Japanese culture. I should have had more days with her.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review while travelling, David.　I love sumo as you noticed, and I go to even Osaka and Nagoya when I get tickets; although this time I ended up involving you for nearly the half of the day’s tour, I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you very much for sending me so many photographs of ukiyo-e depicting sumo. I was also delighted that you visited the Tokyo National Museum the following day and were able to rediscover and gain a deeper understanding of the traditions and joys of sumo. Tomorrow is the tournament's final day. Well, I wonder which of the two wrestlers with three losses will win the title. I'm planning to cheer them on on the telly. “Half day Asakusa tour with Keiko”

We booked a second tour with Keiko, and she was able to give us more cultural information in Asakusa. In addition to learning about the Senso-Ji Temple and Shrine, we wandered amongst the laneways and learnt about foods and dress styles. It is so convenient that Keiko will come to the hotel at a pre-appointed time, and assist with travel and tickets. She took all our ideas into consideration, and was happy to pace our walk to include food and drink breaks. I can highly recommend Keiko to any group hoping to book a Tokyo guided tour.
