“Definitely go with this guide!”
We booked with Kahoko for our first evening in Japan with the intent of gaining a general idea of how to navigate Tokyo and use the transport systems, I would definitely do this if it’s your first visit. We had a great time and learnt a lot in a short space of time that meant we hit the ground running and saved us so much hassle when we left for our next location. We also took in a couple of our must see spots and had an amazing meal at a truly local restaurant we would never have found! Thank you Kahoko! Especially for the extra time at Tokyo station and the other Resturant tip which we used the next night which also turned out to be amazing. Great guide so friendly, definitely recommend!

“A wonderful day in Tokyo”
Our tour with Joji was our first full day in Tokyo and what a day it was! We couldn't believe how much we were able to pack into 6.5 hours and yet nothing felt rushed. Joji is a great guide and teacher. We were very nervous about using public transportation on our own but Joji taught us so well we had no issues the following days. We also asked Joji for a change in our itinerary and he happily obliged and took us to Gōtokuji Temple (instead of Shibuya Crossing) which was one of our favorite spots of the day. We highly recommend this tour! Thank you Joji!!!

“Excellent tour of Temples, Shrines and Beautiful Kamakura!”
Yoshi was a wonderful tour guide for us to take in four temples and one shrine, and we even had time to shop along one of Kamakura's main shopping streets and enjoy a fabulous ramen and tempura lunch at a local eatery that Kamakura residents enjoy. His English is excellent and his historical knowledge is vast. He met us at our Yokohama hotel, helped us purchase train tickets, explained the background of each stop and answered all our questions. When I first contacted Yoshi (pre-booking), I asked him if he could include Engaku-ji Temple to his advertised Kamakura tour. Although it was a different train stop, he was happy to accommodate and was even so kind as to identify my grandmother's grave site at Engaku-ji Temple for us. He also took us to a local literary museum that had an exhibit of special interest to us. We are so happy to have had Yoshi's service for a full day, as we would never have been able to take in so much in one day! We highly recommend him and hope on our 2026 Japan visit that we are able to use his services again.
