Japan is a beautiful country with a long history, tradition and rich cultural heritages, having various features in each of the four distinct seasons. Although there are now many visitors from abroad, mainly from Asian countries, they are mostly interested in shopping taking advantage of cheaper yen rather than understanding our people and culture. Kyoto and Nara are the two cities best known by foreign tourists, but not all the aspects of Japanese culture are concentrated there. If you visit the countryside other than these two cities, you will never fail to see the beautiful natural surroundings and people who will warmly welcome you. Hiroshima is a city of rivers and the sea. Along the rivers Cherry trees line, and the calm Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands, creates a stunning landscape. Also, the sea has many islands called "art islands" which have fantastic arts relating to the art festival "Setoushi Triennale". In addition to our two World Heritage Sites, this area is rich in attractive resources. I hope many of you will come and experience this fascinating land. Fukui Dinosaur Museum is very popular regardless of age. It is one of the world's three largest dinosaurs. Echizen is also well known for Japan's handmade crafts including kitchen knives, washi paper, lacquer wares, Tansu chests and pottery. Seeing craftsmen's work right in front of you makes you excited and impressed. I have been travelling Kanazawa since my high school age so I know well about the town to show you around as well as Shirakawago, a day trip from Kanazawa. Hello! My name is Kaori. When I was young I was interested in tourism. I was studying and working as tour conductor around Kanto area in Japan. I lived abroad from my early 20s to mid 30s. Australia, Taiwan, Central America, Great Britain, Spain and Italy. Now I came back and live in Osaka where I was born. The reason why I applied for the tour guide is because I was pleased when I guided my foreign friends around Japan. Me personally love traveling a lot. Especially trekking in the mountains and MTB trip by myself! I’ve done El Camino De Santiago in Spain 4times! Camino francés, Vía de la plata, Camino Norte, Camino de Madrid, Camino de San Salvador, Camino primitivo. I’ve done Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, too. I’ve travelled around Morocco, Greece and Italy by MTB :) I love adventure! I love to look up sightseeing informations and listen to the story of travelers! Hi! I am Kazue. I am from Fukuoka and live in the central city. I spent almost 20 years traveling around the world as a cabin attendant. Meeting different people, different cultures and eating local food were best things in my career. This experience definitely widened my perspective and will help me in some way when I work as a guide. Since I spent half my life outside of Japan, I noticed our culture and traditions are very unique and became more interested in historical sites in Japan. For my personal life, I am a mom of twins. It is still a hard work but I am enjoying a lot with them. We take them around Kyushu whenever possible for their fun and experience. We all love traveling after all. “Great tour with a very expierenced guide”
The two of us took a seven-hour day tour with Toshiyo. The tour was very interesting and well-organized. Toshiyo is a very good and experienced guide from Kyoto. She is very friendly and has a wealth of in-depth knowledge of Kyoto, Japanese culture, history, and religion. Her English is excellent, and she showed us and explained many interesting details. We visited the Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Sanjūsangen-dō Temple (1001 Buddhas), the Ginkaku-ji (Silver Pavilion), the small and very beautiful Honen-in Temple, the Philosopher's Path, and the Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion). Toshiyo discussed the route with us and was very flexible. We took a break in a small and charming café. The conversations were very pleasant and lively. Thank you so much for this wonderful day! “Amazing Tour Guide”
Seigo San was our Tour Guide for 2 days. My parents were old and couldn't walk to much, Mr. Seigo was able to rearrange our trip to accommodate my parents where they could sit down and relax while I could still enjoy my sight seeing. I would recommend Mr. Seigo San to all my friends and relatives on our next trip to Japan.

“A perfect introduction to Osaka. ”
Katia was ideal from the outset. During the weeks prior to booking, she was responsive, informative and pleasant to deal with. She met us early at our hotel and was flexible throughout the day due to our requests. Before commencing the tour for the day, our children were anxious about the day ahead, but at the conclusion, they were in tears parting company with Katia. It set a good mood for the start of our 2 weeks in Japan. Katia was knowledgeable and tailored the day to fit everyone’s tastes. We hope you will be in Osaka next year Katia and will definitely be requesting your week to be set aside for us. Highly recommended.
